  Shen Yun is a propaganda cultural appropriation show.This is what the West wants you to think this is what China is about. The West thinks that China don't know how to produce their own show. The Western media are adamant that they know what the Chinese people think. Most of them don’t speak the language, never been to China, but ingrained in their racist mind is that the Chinese people are oppressed by the Chinese. So they finance some traitors and support a criminal organization like Shen Yun.They are so vain that they insist the Chinese people are waiting to be saved by the almighty Western nations.

  I didn't know that classical Chinese dancing included ballet. Just when, ie. how many years ago and during which dynasty did ballet first get incorporated into classical Chinese dancing? Please enlighten me, anyone?

  应该是1950年代，苏联和中共在各个方面进行文化交流，包括舞蹈艺术，那个时候中国古典舞没有系统的训练方法，只能借鉴芭蕾舞来训练学生，久而久之，中国古典舞里就出现了很多芭蕾舞的元素，尤其是下半身的动作，和芭蕾舞非常雷同。。。

  @@Loushe7788 So this is a lie. This isn't classical or traditional Chinese dancing. This style developed in the fifties, when China was already controlled by the communist. Falungung developed in the nineties. Communist ideologies were already entrenched. One lie should not be replaced by another.

  @@KOFAKEDEM 完全复古式的呈现古代的艺术现在已经很难了，只能藉由改良后的舞蹈表达一些中国传统文化的思想内核。没有更好的办法了。。。

  @@Loushe7788 A lie is a lie. One cannot claim to fight authoritarianism with lies. This is a Falungung's misguided interpretation of what Chinese traditional dancing should be, after having lived through the dictates of and under heavy influence by the so called monolithic sample drama of the cultural revolution era. On the contrary, there are many fine examples of what real Chinese traditional dancing should be in spirit and form in Hong Kong before 2019 and Taiwan up to the present.

  Les pubs promotionnelles ne montrent que les danses chinoises certes très belles et aux costumes magnifiques. Mais tout ceci n'est qu'une belle façade pour une énorme propagande sectaire à la gloire du fondateur de cette secte à travers des chants/cantiques à la louange de celui-ci. Mais aussi à travers de nombreuses représentations christique du leader de cette secte en ange ailée sauveur de notre monde. Ce qui est montrer aux spectateurs est le message d'un gouroux au influence mi-christique, mi-bouddhiste. À la fin du spectacle, à la sortie de l'amphithéâtre les membres de ce groupe vendent littéralement leurs publications propagandistes et leur bible aux spectateurs. C'est très malaisant.
