This old-fashioned song came straight out of the blue. As in "Blue Skies, sunshine...." It was played thousands of times back in those summer days long ago. Spanky and her little band rivaled the Beatles and the Stones with this ditty. I love it.

As Patti Smith said "Edie was the real hero of Blonde on Blonde" She was very much Dylan's muse for a lot of the classic Blonde on Blonde album. Just Like A Woman.

"Yesterday" is a great fit for Sinatra. For me, this schmaltzy orchestration/arrangement reduces his performance to elevator music. I'd love to hear a remastered version using today's digital technology to get rid of the sugary violins, horns, harp glissandi, glockenspiels, and let his beatific vocalization shine.

The NFL is a reflection of America. The Game was Physical & Demanding. For Toughness mentally & physically. Today the NFL has taken Physicality & Defense out of the game and made it a soft finesse sport. Flag Football. And so has America lost its toughness mentally & physically. It has become soft and weak.
