Very cool video! Your kids are very lucky to have access to such cool tools and equipment. I have a question for you. I am currently trying to purchase one of these for my four year old, but I keep coming across two different 24 V options, one is $450 and one is $750, any idea what the differences are? They look like they have the same specs 8 mph top speed 120 weight limit etc.. I know there is also a 36 V option carries 220 pounds and is quicker but I just wasn’t sure what the differences were between the other two.

You are basically destroying $50-$200 the tire to save $20. Do not be fool to fool to follow and smash thread which has to stay intact while breaking the bead. You can only do it yourself if are trained and you have right tools. Please save yourself a time and frustration trying to follow youtube videos. If you disagree go ahead and do it yourself by following youtube videos which will reimburse or help you to recover from mistakes in doing DIY or cover cost of damages to your property. I told you honestly and choice is yours

What are you using for a clutch? We took our trophy kart out to Winchester with the robin motor in it and it dug holes. Motors toast. Wanted to put in the 225 motor. We have a cmi clutch in there now but guessing the clutch is equally as important as the torque from the motor.

Can I suggest that you pick up a geometric die head for your lathe? It's not an outrageously expensive tool but it will significantly improve your tapping of parts on the lathe, you can still use the current method for viewers and do it yourselfers. But as a retired machine shop supervisor, watching hand tapping is like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard for me. 😂
