Try fishing the far side of Britannia Bridge baited feathers for black bream
I’ve not had a bream yet. I’ll give it a try next time I’m out of Menai Bridge 👌🏼
Not lucky. Skate are dead easy if, you choose the right mark, which you did. Well, they're dead easy to hook, anyway! Congratulations, just the same. Nice when, a plan works first time.
Luck, pure skill, right mark, whatever it was I’m a happy camper! 😂 Thanks for the comment mate, tight lines 🎣
Good video mate 👌
Thanks pal. Hopefully will get a chance next trip 🤞🏼
@@mboutdoors_uk let me know when u go I’ll jump on with you 🦈
Another fantastic video mate, keep them coming, I was out on my boat last Saturday and saw a Sun Fish with its dorsal fin waving above the water, awesome.
Thanks mate! Stay tuned, I will get one 😂
Used to put a rubby dubby bag down on the anchor rope. Really helped pick up some big cod and Conger even some tope. Tight Lines!
Used it all on the drift this trip. Will definitely be trying it on the anchor for the tope next time though 👌🏼
@@mboutdoors_uk We used to use onion bags and packed them with mackerel we mashed. The fish we caught were packed with bits of mackerel. We found it much more effective than a surface bag.
@zworm2 it depends what you're after, i don't think he was after bottom fish 👍
@@dazlee3257 The thing is oil rises and you soon see the slick on the surface. It is counterintuitive but it does work.
Amazing drone video please 🙏 follow me 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Will do!
What is the boat please, obviously a warrior, just which one? Yeah yeah YOURS we know that also. which model please?
It’s a 165 with 60hp Mercury 🛥️ 💨
Great video and sound track Mark, I need to get myself one of those drones and get some footage. If you fancy doing some fishing/boating/walking over the North Anglesey coast give us a bell, my boats moored up in Cemaes Harbour on her tidal mooring for the season. We used to have a Warrior 165, awesome boats!
Yeah man for sure. Not been out with other boats yet, could be a fun day out!
Nice video Mark, some decent huss there mate. Need to get yourself an onion sack, fill it with fresh chum/blood and send it down with the anchor, get that sent trail flowing for the tope.
Keep meaning to do that mate but haven’t got round to it yet! Will definitely give it a shot next time we’re out for the tope. 👌🏼
I was watching Springwatch the other night and they were saying that they have banned netting for sandeels so hopefully puffins and mackerel will be on the increase
That is good news! They’re stunning birds, what a great sight
I was there three weeks ago and the Puffins had arrived, lovely to see! The best experience is to get into the seclusion of inside of the skerries, there is really special wildlife going on! You can actually moor up to the lighthouse island but I think there may be restrictions to land at some times of year! And there are always loads of seals who come and check you out! A great place to grab a peaceful lunch away from the ripping tides in the area!
We did have a little float inside up to the lighthouse, but didn’t want to disturb the birds and seals too much so didn’t stay long. It really is an incredible place for the wildlife!
Please, please, please don’t tell anybody about Anglesey! It is a special place! I’ve been visiting for 53 years, dozens of times a year and have seen so many changes! I don’t want it to be brought into the 20th Century! Yes I mean the Twentieth Century! I love that walk, and do it again and again. The boat fishing is pretty good too!
I’m a fairly new visitor to Anglesey to be honest. It’s really got a hold of me though, love the place! ❤️
Great vid great drone footage shots around the Skerries and some nice fish.Good to see fish being weighed in a decent sling and not stuffed inside a carrier bag or hanging from the gills
Was nearly my last drone footage! 😉 Coming from a carp background means fish care is paramount in all my angling. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
Another awesome video mate, keep them coming
Thanks mate! Plenty more to come this summer hopefully! 🦈
Great video as usual, Anglesey is such a great place to fish, I'm just up the coast. Looking forward to getting out fishing soon.
It’s an awesome place when the sun shines! Thanks for watching 😎
Can you tell what is behind the name change and the inspiration for the name? There is seaman’s folk lore that says it is bad luck to change a boat’s name! I think that is BS but I didn’t change mine!
It was originally named ‘King Fisher’ which I just didn’t like. The inspiration for the name comes from an episode of Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Bit naughty but it cracks me up every time I watch it 🤣🤣 As far as the change bringing bad luck. Know plenty who’ve changed theirs and are still floating 😅 Dont believe in that nonsense 😅
Love seeing you and your best mate Rory! I lost my Cocker Spaniel two years ago and still miss that interaction!
He does make the dry land trips much more enjoyable! He’s slowing down a little now, but still got a few good years left I hope!
Great video and a great little session!
Thanks Gordon 😊
Another minter mate 😎
Thanks Mike! Always good to see people enjoying our days out, appreciate the comments pal 🙏🏼
Brilliant video mate, repping the hooker hoody too 👍👌
Cheers Mike. Had to have a ‘Hooker Hoodie’ 🤪🤪
Great video pal we was there with happy hooker last Saturday not a mackerel to be seen keep up the good work 👍
Cheers mate. It was solid with them, couldn’t get baited feathers to the bottom! 😂
Well done , amazing underwater footage . That sure tested your stamina 😂
Incredible experience! So lucky to get one first try from the shore 👌🏼
What wood was this? and really enjoyed your video
Thanks mate. It’s a little block of woodland up near Shining Tor in Cheshire 👌🏼
Awesome thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the comments ☺️
It’s really good your support worker takes you fishing mate she’s deserves a raise
Most definitely mate!! To be honest its just nice to get out of the centre for a few hours 🤪
How hard is the walk to great gable from honister , it's going to be my last wainwrite and my daughter is joining me , she not much of a walker and I didn't know whether to set off from honister or seathwaite
It’s been a while but I’d say they’re both reasonably similar, not easy but not totally brutal either 😂 If you’re just wanting to do Great Gable then the route up from Wasdale is worth a look 👌🏼
So long ago it was like seeing it all for the first time 😉😅. Mega day out!
A grand day and no mistake! 🙂↕️
Two great days out. Very enjoyable viewing.
Thank you for the kind comment. Will definitely go back and get Snowdon in too 👌🏼
What a great day for a walk in the mountains Sun is shining and the visibility making for awesome views
Was a really enjoyable day in the mountains. Cant believe I didn't edit this one before. Thanks for the comments, most appreciated
Another cracking video mate 😎 red letter day on the bass as well 😮 🎣
Thanks Mike. Couldn’t believe the bass! Such good sport on the lures, loved it
What a couple lucky bass-tards! I look like an absolute Neanderthal saucing those buns 🫠. Best couple days, especially the cuckoo 😏🐠, bring on the summer 🙌❤
What a trip!! Chubby gurnards next eh 😉
Shaaaaaaark! 🦈
You lucky, lucky people landing on a shoal of feeding Bass and fair-play to you, putting them all back. Fantastic video with great scenery with non-stop action and nice to see Rory putting in an appearance.
So lucky, right place right time! Never seen anything like it. Bass everywhere, just mental
Brilliant mate, well done the 2 of you
Thanks mate! We dropped really lucky with the fishing, about time like 😅
I shall be heading there next month!
It’s a really stunning spot. Hope the weather plays ball for you! 🤞🏼
Try cockles for Wrasse on rock marks and hook up rate is often higher
Will give them a try, thanks for the tip 👌🏼We’ve just managed to break Tashas wrasse drought in style, watch this space!! 😉
Great footage and very interesting area. I have fond memories of the area. Spent many a night kipping in my car after a night session and then enjoying a cracking fry up the following morning in the cafe by the church. You got some great shots!
Thanks mate. Glad to bring back some memories for you. Atb, Mark
Awesome vid… awesome series 🏴😍
Why thank you Natasha 🫡
Cracking video mate😎
Cheers Mike, thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Isn’t Loch Etive where you can catch course fish and sea fish in the same loch owing to its depth?
It’s my understanding that the further up you go the fresher the water is. Towards Glen Etive it’s virtually freshwater apparently 💦
Amazing 👏 ❤
Cheers Mike. Hope you’re well mate 🎣
Stunning video, keep them coming please
Thanks Stuart. Easy to make a decent video with scenery and surroundings that I had this week in Scotland! Stunning place 😍
Fantastic scenery! Great finish to the series with good camera work throughout.
Thanks Gordon. Appreciate the comments and thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Man.....I love in Bangor overlooking the strait's,that was taken yesterday.....the mist was eerie, following the strait's,hadn't thought what it would look like from up there, nice footage bud
Yeah, yesterday. Was up in Amwlch a bit later on and the mist hung around til well answer lunch! Thanks for the comment mate 🙏🏼
Nice video with a good sound tack. Very relaxing.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the footage 🫡
Lovely bit of filming that mark 👌🏾
Thanks mate! Lucky to pass just at the right time ❤
Quality video mate, looking forward to the next parts, can't wait to do a bit of skate fishing myself 🎣🎣
Thanks Simon 👌🏼 I’d highly recommend the skate fishing, particularly if you can get a spot on Leigh’s boat, he’s the best in the business! 💪🏼
So gorgeous
It’s an amazing place! One of my favourite fells ❤️
Great Video !
Thanks Ajay! 🇹🇭
Looks like a none peel able seal but so what, what matters is what is inside and it looked real good wholesome looking food to be, everything you need for a trip outdoors. Loved the self heating bag, a tough of water and band, you got hot food - what a great idea! I would have no problem with out of date M&Ms and that cookie looked great too. Shame the food was not piping hot but if it tasted good, I would be happy with that. If I was out in the outdoors, cold and hungry an 8.5 or a 9 out of 10 would suit me real fine, cheers Alan
Think you might have commented on the wrong vid here Alan 😉😂
Nice video Mark, I share your pain getting the boat ready for the season, going through the same saga myself, need a break in the weather to get all my servicing and prepping done on her. Had her professionally polished up last Friday so she's looking good, just need to replace all the decals, and give her an engine service, then hopefully put her onto my Mooring. Good luck with the towing, just remember the wheel bearings will be quite hot after a good tow so let them cool down before launching. All the best mate, hopefully catch up this summer.👍
Cheers fella. She’s back with me now all set for Sundays trip to Scotland. Will keep an eye on the bearings. Doing it solo so will be having plenty of little stops along the way. Hope yours is good to go for the season soon 🛥️
