I did not test the claim I bought it to nail tongue and groove flooring. I do know it's pumps the tank up extremely fast and is super quiet

Caveat emptor! I have a Makita and 2 oem pullies do not fit shelix shaft and depth of keyway is not correct and key does not fit. I brought to attention during warranty and manufacturer will not fix.

You cannot just use the joint compound without diluting the material. Your hopper will clog and won't spray out the tip. It looks like the material you are using is even a little too thick!

@@rydog88so I went over my video and it's not a mistake, it's a misunderstanding I say you can just use the joint compound ( you don't need special texture mud) as you see me mixing the super thick mud to a pancake batter, I believe it safe to say mix any product to the consistency of pancake batter like I was explaining.

I have 2x4s with a pan liner, diamond mesh and than mortar, If you are talking about not using a pan liner. You absolutely can not build a curb without the liner unless you use a foam system, and at that point you don't need the mortar either.

Wish you had laid down the tile in our master bathroom! Beautiful tile.They didn’t stagger, and gc project mgr who was “supervising” (use term loosely) didn’t notice. I walked in and noticed immediately; at that point, however, everything was already installed - and removing it was likely to cause collateral damage as well as destroy all the floor tile, of course.

Laying sheets can be tough, some are manufactured bad like these in the video, I had to adjust the tiles individually so it took so long and after a few tile jobs I'm no longer doing tile.

No, I flushed the small 1 down the toilet last year. Had it in my cleaning bucket, didn't notice until it went down the drain 🤣 I was using the medium one in the video, Otherwise yes the small 1 works as well.

Awesome video. What kind of edge trim did you use for this glass tile? 2.) did you leave a space between the glass tile and the edge trim? If so did you fill it with silicon considering it's an outside perimeter ? Thank you

Yes, leave a 1/8 gap anywhere glass will butt up to another surface or material, glass expends more than any other material I'm aware of. Any change of plane use silicone it what is recommended in the tcna. When people say you don't have to use silicone they are just cheap because the cost is about double.

The trim is schulter trim (jolly) style Also get at least 1/8 thicker than the tile I matched the color to the light fixtures and it worked well with the tile as well

I’m doing a job VERY similar to this with 4x12 glass. 1) How did you make the U cuts around the outlets? 2) why does the wall need to be so flat? Reflections? 3) where did you get the thin tile levelers?

1)to make the u cuts you must have a motorized wet saw. 2) flat wall will help with install and if the thinset is uneven behind the tile, the thinset can dry at different rates and crack the tile . 3) I bought them at homedepot. this was my first tile job so I used the levelers and after this job I went without.

Awesome job! I have installed similar cabinets and I'm going to also use 3 x12 glass tile . First time using glass and I wanted to know how did you cut around the outlets.. I've been told you need to round off the inside corner and I need some tips.

I have read that as well. also read L shapes and U shapes you should avoid, I did both because I warranty my work so if it fails I will know personally not what someone said, I took the chance for the sake of a super clean look, I used a wet saw. be careful and use a mat if you cut face down, glass tile scratches so easy also the thinset will scratch the tile if you get if on the face so be careful and keep the tile clean at all times . this was the case with the tile I dealt with .

also get the right thin set like ardex x77 you will read on other glass tile thinset "for tile less then 6 inches on any side " 3x12 glass is considered large format tile
