    Wtf no you’re supposed to block up into the wall. Pushing down into it just makes you slide down, and you’re getting away with it because it’s only 8’. This video explains the proper technique: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m46jk9Zpk8LFlbg.html

    This is actually so cringe. Just hang from it in a cat hang and pull yourself up with a free overgrip climb up because this wall has an overgrip, so it’s not even an actual wall climb up. Then watch “The Fastest Way to Climb Up a Wall” and learn how to do that. Also, the 6’ wall is short enough to just dip up and flick up/turn vault at the top.

    The On Top method is really the easiest way to do the traverse you have so much more stability. The other two positions mylo showed is a successful way to do it as well but there are risks associated with those. Definitely choose the on top method for beginners/rookies.     At a recent OCR I did the rope traverse while hanging below with my legs crossed. I was wearing knee high compression socks and didn't have any issue
