Should not have killed Sharon Raydor off. Made all the effort before, getting along with Brendas team, adopting Rusty, all her family matters, the whole getting married thing, don't know what horse made James Duff think it was a good idea to have her drop on a heartfailure.

I'm so glad to hear someone addressing the horses in Premarin pipeline. I have a draft horse who was saved from slaughter as a foal when separated from her mother to send to slaughter for human consumption in other countries. My mare is the philly of a percheron mare used to harvest urine. The story of how the urine is collected is also a sad reality. They hook a catheter & bag(foley?) to the pregnant mare. She has to wear that bag for most of her pregnancy, often getting UTI & other infections because of lack of cleaning & care. What a miserable life for the horses used & abused in the hormone replacement therapy (HRT) industry. The industry prefers to use draft horses because they can collect more hormones from them than a regular sized horse. It was made popular in the 90's & marketed to help post menopausal women. Now with people transitioning, HRT is increasing demand for the hormones, which leads to horse abuse & slaughter. The slaughter pipeline sends horses to Mexico to slaughter for dog food (horses are referred to as beef on ingredient labels), the draft horses are often wanted for human consumption in countries in Eastern hemisphere, they receive them by route through Canada. The horses are hung upside down, throats shut, until they bleed out. Because horses are such high stressed prey animals, this type of slaughter is most brutal to them. There were videos made to expose the ugly practice, yet it still continues. I believe there are bills trying to b e passed to stop this senseless abuse, but it will take citizens pressing their govmt officials to make a bold stand against big pharma, specifically the hormone industry. The pushback they will get will require some backbone & support from citizens( meaning you & I) to encourage them to stand firm. It's a team effort, just feeling sorry for the horse doesn't help improve their situation. We can rescue these horses ourselves, if we have the space & resources or we can support others who do have the space, but need resources & volunteers to provide care for the animals. You & I can be part of the Solution to Support & Save (S=SS)the horses.

I actually started watching the closer because of “Brenda”. Great shows ! Wasn’t crazy about Mary McDonnell....her character was mean to “Brenda Lee” .........not cool!

I was a little kid when Crime Story came out. I was born in '76. The pilot was great -- the show was great, and it stands the test of time. I know I was supposed to hate Ray Luca. And he was a despicable character... but Anthony Denison has some kind of magical way of presenting Luca as a likeable guy. I don't know. All I can say is Crime Story is a Masterpiece, with a cast of Master actors and actresses, with a Master class of writers, crew, and props.
