What a great video! Thanks.
These days, anything involving cute cartoon characters in beer advertising is strictly verboten, the self-righteous moral guardians of today are worried about anything could lead children to drinking; and alas the Hamm's Bear and other mascots went the way of Joe Camel.
We would call the hangover kreusing poisoning.
These HAMM'S are made for drinkin' and that's just what I'll do.
Perfect!
It pisses me off that most of the Yankee states have this beer
Just a man with his grizzly bear, on the river in the canoe.
Bro!
Make America great again!
I can't wait to try this brother!
You rock and so does Hulk Hogans all American beer!!!
The can looks cool!
I never thought about having a pumper party before but now I kinda want to.
I appreciate you putting it in a glass. To show the contrast of the brew. But how does it taste in the can?
I had another one last night out of the can when I was in the backyard and it’s definitely a drinkable beer.
Great old commercials thanks 👍 for these ones 😊
This is one of my uncles favorite beers. Another uncle's parents had this on tap at home.
With his son’s history with alcohol abuse and duis. He should reconsider this. The whole thing is gross.
His son is a grown man, it's not Hulk's job to hold his hand.
oh yeah..great video🍻
Well done, thanks for sharing
You know....I'll always question whether my dad's birthday is April 10th or 12th, but I'll ALWAYS remember "Hamms the beer refreshing...Hamms the beer refreshing...Hammmmmms"
What IS the All American Beer? 🇺🇸
It will be on the ballot in this year’s election 😀
This from a guy who grew up in and moved back to a town 20 minutes from Anheuser-Busch HQ in St. Louis, and who has lived in both England and Germany and enjoyed the lagers and ales there -- I started drinking Hamm's out of curiosity in February of 2023 and have never looked back. I find it immensely satisfying. Smooth as the commercial says and particularly, no buildup of bitterness or sourness or anything else unpleasant on the tongue the more you drink. Just great flavor. One of those great old "Dad" beers as I call them. The price is right too. I get a 30 pack of cans for $18.00.
Oh yeah, BROTHER! 🍻
I'm Minnesota too. I'll have to pick some up
It should be in multiple places now if not next week
@LandOfSkyBeerWaterscom I heard on the news all Cub Foods liqour stores have it.
We had a bar that would give away Hamms for an hour to women every night during happy hour. So we would ALL go in and get pitcher after pitcher and play pool. It was a softball team and we took advantage of that great deal. You could actually get a case of Hamms for 6 bucks. 🤣🤣
any idea of the year? just guessing 70s as i don't think light beer really kicked off until the mid 70s
The artwork is very pre 1980’s so I’m also guessing mid to late 1970’s
Is that Bo Svenson? Anyway, great commercial, thanks for posting it!
Definitely the most cheaply animated Hamm's commercial it's like they just decided to film the storyboards! Still it's fun seeing a Hamm's ad I've never seen before, thanks for posting it.
Yeah it’s very unique and maybe it was an experiment to see the reaction of a cheaper made animation commercial?
@@LandOfSkyBeerWaterscomI'm sure this is an "animatic", not the finished commercial. These are basically filmed storyboards used during production of commercials, they're also known as "Leica Reels" in the animation industry.🎉
Jingle adapted from the song "Brotherhood Of Man" from the stage musical & film "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying". Try Hamm's if you haven't. I gave it a try a year and a half ago and now that's the only beer I buy -- and I live in the capitol of Budweiser!

i remember my 1st old style back in 1982, it had a "sweet" kind of taste to it, i just found some old style down here 40 miles away at ash flat, arkansas, we can't get it in southern missouri, it has that old sweet taste i remember, maybe it does taste somewhat like it used to. compared to the "old" old style, in reality, i like both of them, at least it's not miller, coors or pudweiser and for my money, i'll continue to buy it.
RIP Patrick Swayze. Gone yet never to be forgotten.
Technically the bear was beaned, and he should have been sent to first base.
If they only had replay back then 😀
If I could make beers magically appear, I would've died of cirrhosis a long time ago
I can’t believe cartoon characters were used to advertise Alcohol. Amazing.
Good way to get kicked out of a tavern. Yow!
horrible beer...great jingle
Im old enough to remember the sky blue water theme resort lodge on brule lake in cook county mn. It was disbanded after the feds made the bwca wilderness takeover. It was deemed to be inside the bwca. They tore down that gorgeous place. The boundary was only a few feet inclusive of the lodge. Hamms fell apart as a result. The brewery was in the neighborhood i grew up in. It was so cool. The rathskeller was so classy.
Sure looks like a 50s ad, but look close at the end where they post the copyright at the bottom, it's blurry but it looks like 1968 or 1965 - that 6 doesn't look like a 5 to me.
From the land of Sky Blue water
Jesse Ventura will always be a wrestling heel legend!!
We need Hamm's lite back please !
that bear is HAMMered
we have lost this national treasure !
There's always hope! I just tried Hamm's for the first time today! Not bad!
I remember my first summer back from college, grandpa had a case of Hamm'sin the fridge and offered me a beer by the lake. Good times.
It was incredibly forward-thinking of them to market their beer to the furry population
😁
Just found 6 cans empty great finish but cans would have to be straightened out belive there 1965 or 67
Was curious about this myself but couldn't get an old Milwaukee batch near me when I picked up the LaCrosse. I think I like the new batches better so far actually. Seems like a slightly higher quality but who knows maybe just a fresh batch/placebo effect. Does seem a little more pilsenry with the bitterness. anyway cool idea!
Hi❤
What year is the video?
