  Stinking domestic refuse from Liverpool en route to the Energy from Waste power station at Wilton on Teesside. On this occasion the smell was overcome by the acrid smell of hot brake blocks as the train braked hard for a signal check at Mytholmroyd.

  Hai ragione, il volantino di potenza della, Loc. D. 445, contrariamente alle altre della serie (343, 345, 443),non accelera in tutte le tacche bensì in alcune(non ricordo quali) si ha l'accelerazione ed in contemporanea l'aumento della forza di trazione nelle altre solo l'aumento della forza di trazione ed è per questo che non puoi andare dalla prima alla tredicesima tacca tutto in una volta, si crea un pendolamento del diesel e relativa fumata nera.😊

  Apparently to commemorate the 1, 000th edition of Rail magazine. It carries small red vinyl stickers with the Rail magazine logo on the bottom corners of the cabs.
