I'm an Electronic Engineer by training and have worked in the tech sector for nearly 30 years alongside Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Samsung, Dell, HP and more. However, this channel is about sharing my passions for the outdoors, including going off road/riding dirt bikes, camping in our teardrop trailer and other outdoor activities. You will also find honest product reviews (some tech and some just stuff I bought) and "How To" videos as I do most of my own repairs and upgrades on my toys and around the house. I do not get paid by or sponsored by companies, so I try to be objective on all my reviews sharing the good/bad so you can get the real scoop before you spend your hard earned money.
Got questions/comments/tips, post 'em, I try to respond to all comments and questions as best I can.
Hopefully you enjoy these videos and they help you along the way.

Nice job. take off the low oil sensor, then use pressure washer, or take it to manual car wash. clean well.
Does this need to be done on both rear wheels or just one?
both have the same system. You need to do both rears
Cut out the bottom of a 1 liter Soda plastic container, clean and easy slide
I appreciate the video. Staying there next weekend, looking forward to it.
Nice 👍🏻
Thanks. still in the honeymoon phase with the trailer but the quality on this is pretty impressive. Not as good as the teardrop but better than any other comparable rig I looked at...so hoping this holds up over time.
Where did you find a new torque sensor?
From a group online. There are all sorts of places to find them still.
I love mine
Is it still available from Honda?
I think so but it's expensive. You can find it cheaper online.
Great review. Thank you for pointing out the weld issues. That's something most people skip over, but you're assessment is correct. Debating on this and the ready ramp. Prefer the mesh on this, but want something that I can throw in the back of the truck, shake the piss out of on a dirt road, and know that it's not going to fatigue and break.
Thanks for watching. Surprisingly enough it is still holding up well. None of the welds have broken loose yet. I have since bought my wife a quad so we use these to load her quad as well. The only thing that has happened and it's not a fault of the ramps is that some of the webbing dented a little bit. However, that is because I used them to load a 300lb double oven on a refer dolly. The dolly has narrow, hard wheels that didn't line up with the center beam when I loaded it so one wheel was off center and the weight of the oven on such a small area caused the webbing to dent some. But even then the welds held so I can't really complain given the price point.
@@RoughRidersTV that's awesome. Thank you. It's good to hear that after four years it's still holding up
There is also an upgrade to this fix, Samsung recommends to add a heater line to the defroster.. However, that drain can also be clogged from a bug, or spider climbing up through the bottom, a blower and air compressor is needed to blow the drain out, and flush it with hot water.. until water flows very well.. 👍
It's an evaporator core... Not a condenser.. the condenser is in the bottom of the refrigerator. Next to the compressor.
Great video.. I’ll try on mine. My ap1 doesn’t rev pass 7k rpm do you know what could be the problem
Could be a couple things. Gotta narrow it down by your symptoms. If it’s not engaging vtec check out your top dead center sensor. It’s by the fire wall and connected around valve cover I believe. Is it fuel cutting at 7k?
Very well done review. Thanks.
Does the card need to be on neutral to do this?
O
I lock mine up in a building!!!
Nice
Million times per sec?
Advice. Learned the hard way- double check make sure you have the vertical bar on your MDX. My 2014 doesn’t even have it and I cannot mount this cooler anywhere. I’m out $180 as oem prices have doubled and I should have bought the full kit that comes with the bar
Can you fabricate the bar? If that is the only thing preventing you from mounting it, might want to give it a try.
Is this the same for a Honda civic I changed my back brakes but I unplugged the e brake motor to do get better leverage then I plugged everything back in correctly and now my dash board is lit up telling me to release parking brake but it’s not engaged
Thanks good job
Thanks
Thanks, good job
Thanks for watching.
I'm looking for this canopy and I can't find anything with hex legs and the robust tie down straps...Do you have a model number?
I don't know if they still make it or not. But here is the description from my amazon order. Eurmax Premium 10'x10' Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Outdoor Easy Pop up Canopy Instant Tent Trade Show White
Great instruction! Going to see if just clearing the drain and utilizing energy saving mode stops the freeze. If not I'll try the clip
You never mentioned the cost difference between the 2 units. I'm guessing double at least for the bigger grill?
Actually I did. I mentioned it right at the beginning of the video at the 1:30 mark. But yes it's about double the cost.
@@RoughRidersTV ah sorry I missed it and didn't see it in the timestamp!
@@RoughRidersTV I am hoping we made the right choice we went with the Bradley smoker!
@@lighthouseministries7 I really don't think you can go wrong with either. Both are great smokers and I used that Bradley for 6 years without complaint. It always produced great food. Now that I've had more time on the RecTeq, I do like it a little bit more. The more open cook space makes larger cuts of meat easier to smoke and the phone app is great at seeing temps without having to go outside. But at 2x the cost, I would expect more features and capabilities and that's why it's not really a fair comparison between the 2. If you cold smoke (cheese, fish, etc.), the Bradley wins hands down. It is a much better cold smoker than the RT.
Do you still have this bike looking to pick one up. Wondering if it’s still a viable option in 2024
No, sold it when I bought the YXZ 1000. However, I sold the YXZ a few years ago and bought the YZ250F which is basically the MX version of this bike and that is what I'm riding today.
What are you getting for fuel consumption? What is the fuel capacity? Thanks.
It holds about 4 Gallons. It's stock motor and exhaust so it sips fuel. We can go a long time between refueling. I don't have milage range, but I can go hours plowing the streets and do that multiple days before having to put in more gas. On trails, we will get 3+ day rides in before needing to refuel.
8:15 you wouldn't be using pucks all the way through a smoke with the bradley though. I tend to use them for the first hour or two, and maybe the last hour if I toss in some pit beans. Other than that, great video!
Fair point. I would typically max out things at 6 hours on the smoke. Anything over that would not get absorbed by the meat. When I did Brisket, I would burn pucks for 6 hours and then the element do the rest. Ribs, I would do 5 hours all smoke. Never really did anything less than 5 hours. But you are right, costs do drop once you stop burning pucks...I should have accounted for that in the video.
@@RoughRidersTV No worries, it's a very informative video. I sent it to a friend asking about pellets vs bradley. I've owned two bradleys I've been very happy with. When doing larger pieces of brisket I'm usually ending up around 12+ hours in the bradley. One of my biggest complaints with the bradley is the low thermal mass. If I add pit beans mid smoke, it takes too long (imo) to bring temps back up.
Great video thanks!! I'm thinking about buying one of this and you helped me make my decision.
Thanks for the vid doing my first diff oil change boy that 21mm socket is odd might have to go buy one biggest I think I have is 17. Love these machines picked up a 22 xtr myself made street legal couldn't be happier with it
Nice work! Why you need to add brake fluid in the jar before bleeding ?
Thanks. I put fluid in the jar so the open line does not suck any air back into the lines.
I will share your video. God bless
Thanks for watching.
On the Bradley smoker E1 comes on most of the time
I never had that problem for as long as I had it. I'm on to a RecTeq now but the Bradley was a great entry smoker for me.
My drain tray is completely rusted. What parts should I get to fix the problem. The drain was obviously blocked for some time.
great video -- excellent instructions!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Question on chidren and wild animals: I have a 14-year old boy who has body odor, farts a lot, and is generally in his obnoxious stage. If I tie him to a tree overnight, will he repel wild animals, or are they more likey to eat him for a late night snack?
Tough to say...I suppose as long as he keeps producing noxious gasses, he might repel them like a skunk. I guess it depends on how fond of him you are.
Thank you Sir
Do you actually have to warm it up??
You don’t have to but it does help it thin out so it flows out easier. I do it with all my vehicles as it gets more of the old oil out.
Grill looks great. Can I ask what you use/how you clean the outside? I have one coming and see a lot of different ideas in the web. Thank You!
I put a seal on 3 sides of a lid to help keep drips down. Then for the barrel, I use Barkeeper's Friend on the stainless steel parts of the barrel. For the inside, I use a pain scrapper to keep the creosote down, tin foil on the grill grates and a vacuum for the ash.
@@RoughRidersTV THANK YOU SIR!
That is probably the most practical camper trailer I've ever seen I was interested in the road toad but after watching your channel I think this would be much more suitable for my needs. Would you be willing to sell? LOL thanks very much
Thanks. I actually just sold it yesterday as we move into something a little bigger. But we loved every minute of it for the 10 years we had it. We camped coast to coast in it.
Never talk down on the Weber Kettle.......ever......
Great info. Thanks!
The Bradley is originaly designed to smoke fish (like sea bas, salmon, makrel) every time the same way (consistant), from cold smoking to 248F with exact 20min smoke puks. Fish, Cheese Beef Jerkey and so on for 1.20 $ an hour (no electricity not counted). Where the Pellet Grill is a grill who can also smoke, and comes as close as it gets to an original off set smoker, where heat and smoke come from the same source. Two totally different 'cuisines'.
Can you share a link to where you purchased that bigger clip? Thank you.
I got it off Amazon. Let me see if I can find the order in my account.

We have different definitions of simple, but thanks
Just cnanged my O-ring on the oil pick up tube, I had as much muck in the bottom of mine as well, changed oil every 5K, I just dumped fuel in the pan and went at it with a brush. Did this several times and it came out almost perfect-
Best looking lock that seems to offer the best and most security. I just purchased 2. And they are made in the USA!
What did you do with the vent on the top? I have the same smoker and I’ve always left it open. Did you do anything differently?
