For the cab and front bumper it took 10 or 12 bottles (I cant remember exactly). I was learning though, so it took a couple extra bottles to get rid of the tiger stripping.

I only painted the cab(extended cab) and bumper. You might be able to do the whole truck with 12 if you don't have to fix any spots. I probably used a couple of extra bottles doing a mist coat to make the paint job look better. But, if you've never painted with raptor, expect some trial and error.

Oh ok. I have the kit and can’t find any help with the bumper. The McNeil brackets are flat. My 17 bumper isn’t flat. Has like a “U” shaped bracket sticking out of the bumper. So confused.

Yup it's a pretty sad thing that having crackhead shields over your welding cables is pretty much necessary to have now a days. Sad but true. I had a guy on my security camera last week checking out my rig. lucky everything is locked up so he didn't get into anything.

Yea you can never under estimate what they may be capable of. like in the summer I got a Milwaukee battery grinder two batteries and a charger stolen. I'm sure he probably just pawned it. But a guy could do alot of damage with a tool like that. @@RMW_LTD

Just did the Raptor liner on my 2013 F150 yesterday, one more side to go (need to order more Raptor cans). The wind is brutal when it blows the plastic paint covers everywhere. Do you plan on doing anything with your bumpers, or are leaving them? My front bumper has it's fair share of rock chips, thinking of doing it too.

@glitchingvrgaming If I had the space to do it indoors, it would be much easier. Haha, we do the best with what we have. My front and rear bumper are in really good shape, so I'll keep them stock for now, or I'll build some custom ones at some point. My other truck, I painted everything with Raptor, and I think it looks awesome. Did the truck a dark gun metal grey and the grill black raptor. I have a full build video of that truck if you haven't watched it.

Thats a clever design. Also refreshing to see a welder wearing a PAPR, sometimes i feel like I'm the crazy one wearing one instead of all the other guys that apparently never read a warning label on 6010 or 7018 box, though i guess aluminum is more dangerous? I've not welded it yet.

Thanks, Lordslavik. I welded for about 15 years before buying a PAPR and regret not buying it sooner(who knows what damage Ivd done to my body). I think most forms of welding are hard on our bodies, so I always wear mine.

Thanks, man. It's starting to come together. It was a bit hectic early on not knowing if my design was gonna work but it seems functional. And, I think it'll look a lot more custom once I build the roof rack/ladder, lights, awning and add some details on the outside shell.
