    That is one big wild looking dude just dismounting that D9 like it was a kids toy!! Tell him hello for me. You take some really good videos Daniel and it was a pleasure to drive log trucks together... I looked up to you in that nice Blue W900. I just sold my last to log trucks... In far better condition than I got them ... I enjoyed it..learnt a lot..and a renewed respect for machinery of all types. Ever think of a documentary of your New Zealand adventures? Take care my friend, god bless you and yours.🫡

    What does low low mean? I get the low gear and high gear on a transfer case but my knowledge of low low on a manual transmission is not good.

  • @DanielBoonesloggingvideos
    @DanielBoonesloggingvideos3 күн бұрын

    Low low is a deep production gear used for steep inclines/heavy loads. It helps you to get just enough speed to be able to do normal shifting if that makes sense

    To start those old 740s you pull the stopper knob hard out while cranking. It gives them extra fuel. I have no idea how it works, I just know it works. Spent many thousands of hrs on John Deere skidders.

    I have a 1987 f250 460 factory carb 4x4 4 speed single cab truck my dad bought new. Years ago i stuck an Edelbrock carb on it as well as a points distributor with Pertronix. Let it sit a little too long. Put on a mechanical fuel pump on side of engine. I have it running again. Carb is a little sloppy. Now the gas gauge doesn't work and the fuel tank selector does not. Do you know if mine has booster fuel pump in addition to mechanical fuel pump on engine in gas tanks? Where to get gas tank sending units? Love the video. Thanks for the info. I did not know there was an intake and carb package available for this 460 engine.

    My 1987 f250 4x4 t-19 (now t-18) manual 4 speed single cab is a factory carb truck. My dad bought it new. In late 1990s we put on a summit edelbrock carb. Pertronix electronic system inside a points distributor. Desmogged. I let it sit a while. Manual fuel pump seemed to go out. Installed. Runs now. Carb is a little sloppy. Now gas gauge doesn't work nor selector. Ran out of gas and one tank works better than other. I need to drop tank and put in new sending units and tank selector. Does mine have booster pumps in tanks? Where to order? What should I do? Thanks and I like your truck!

    And now both locomotives used on the “Farewell to Steam” excursion are owned by Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. #90 is currently in the process of being restored to operation, while #38 is I believe planned to eventually be returned to operation as well, though when that will be is unknown. It’s great that the two Rayonier sisters are reunited, with at least one (and hopefully both) to be steamed up again, chugging along the Oregon Coast and up the Nehalem River Canyon.
