    I really wanted to share with you some info on the speed loader for this gun. I like it so much I made a video shooting the gun and using the speed loader. I call it the Ring-Pop Reload. "And I'm pretty sure I've invented this reloading method" After practicing it awhile I really feel confident with this tiny mouse gun. The reload is super simple and it has to be consistent. You basically use your thumb and trigger finger to create a cylinder crane. I really think you will enjoy the video and the speed loader was very inexpensive. Also I've found if you use your left thumb and left trigger finger it can be shot surprisingly fast. Then you can use your right trigger finger to maintain a way tighter grip. Hope you find this helpful have a blessed day and Climb to Glory!

    Is that ammunition designated 7.62x51? If so, this will fire form incorrectly in the rifle in this video. The action of that bolt action rifle is rated for .308 Win. 7.62x51 is built to different specifications. It is a higher pressure cartridge. It will not fireform correctly in a .308 Win chamber.

  • @lupooutdoors
    @lupooutdoors29 күн бұрын

    The pressure is where most people get confused when analyzing the two ammo. The maximum pressure numbers for the two calibers are 50,000 psi for 7.62 and 62,000 psi for .308. At a glance, it appears to be a big difference and a reason to consider it unsafe to fire. The logic is, do not fire a higher pressure commercial .308 cartridge in a rifle built for 7.62x51mm NATO. A .308 Winchester chamber rifle can handle both .308 Win. and 7.62 NATO ammo safely, but a 7.62 rifle is only safe for a 7.62 NATO ammo. This text is originally from HuntingHeart.com, you can read more here: huntingheart.com/can-you-shoot-a-7-62-x-51-ammo-in-a-308-rifle/ You my friend, have got it backward, All my other 7.62x51 work just fine with no issues, it's just the ZSR ammo that's Jamming and has exploded, destroying peoples firearms. Sorry for the book about to written but you asked for it. First bass are considered a warm body species, so they don’t mind shallow water it’s typically warmer. Even compared to there close cousin smallies which are still in the warm body category they like much warmer weedier water. 2nd deep is based on perspective, the main lake I fish and most up north are deeeeeep. Mine is over a 1000 feet so deep to me is 50-200 which is where I fish for trout 20 and shore is shallow to me which is where I catch all my bass. Ocean guys would not even consider my deep deep. Regardless even in ponds mature bass are only going to move to the deepest water a few hours a day. A few months of the year. Spring they go shallow to spawn, the biggest bass are gonna be in a few feet of water, Summer all night they are gonna be shallow smacking frogs, on windy days they are gonna be shallow chasing bait balls pushed by the wind or in shallow slack water where bait and them can swim easily. Before a storm shallow patrolling putting on the feed bag, over cast shallow actively hunting. Clear skies evening and dawn shallow hiding in shadows setting up an ambush. Bass LOVE and need vegetation and structure preferably both, almost all is in shallow water. Veg does not grow in deep water so there food will not be there and then there’s no cover for them. The structure they need docks, fallen trees, pillars, most bridges are shallow. Fall big bass are typically targeting some kind of bait fish which they are going to position themselves between that bait and shore, cornering the bait placing them shallow. Even in winter when lakes ice over they like up against the ice putting them in shallower water. They are only “deep” the few hottest parts of the year, during the hottest part of the day, when the atmospheric pressure is high consistently. Then they are lethargic uncontrollable and very difficult to catch.

    A book, requires a book. Thank you for sharing such a detailed perspective on bass fishing! It's clear you're passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. However, there are a few points where there might be some misunderstandings or differences in interpretation. Firstly, it's true that largemouth bass (often referred to simply as "bass") are generally considered a cold-blooded, not warm blooded species. Bass are cold-blooded, meaning their body temperature is the same as the surrounding water. As the water temperature drops, their metabolism slows dramatically and their energy level is greatly reduced. They do prefer warmer, shallower waters, especially compared to their smallmouth cousins. However, the term "warm-water species" is relative. While largemouth bass thrive in warm water, they also seek out cooler, deeper waters during extreme heat to find a more comfortable temperature zone. Regarding the depth of water, it indeed varies greatly depending on the body of water you're fishing in. In your case, a lake with a maximum depth of over 1000 feet does make 50-200 feet seem relatively shallow. But for many anglers, especially those fishing in shallower lakes or ponds, "deep" might be considered anything over 20 feet. It's important to remember that "deep" is a relative term in fishing, heavily dependent on the specific environment. Your observations about bass behavior in different seasons are generally spot on. Bass do tend to move to shallower waters during the spring for spawning, and they are often found in shallower areas during the summer at night or when conditions are right. However, it's not entirely accurate to say that bass only move to deeper waters for a few hours a day or a few months a year. While it's true they spend a significant amount of time in shallower areas, particularly for feeding and spawning, they also use deeper waters as a refuge during extreme weather conditions, high fishing pressure, or to avoid predators. The point about vegetation and structure is very valid. Bass do love areas with plenty of cover, such as weeds, fallen trees, and man-made structures like docks and bridges. These areas provide excellent ambush points for feeding. However, deeper waters also offer structure in the form of submerged trees, rock piles, and drop-offs, which can be just as attractive to bass, especially when these structures are located near deep-water sanctuaries. In summary, while your experience and insights are valuable, it's important to consider the variability in bass behavior based on different environmental conditions and bodies of water. Fishing is an ever-evolving sport where different techniques and understandings can coexist, often leading to new discoveries and better strategies for everyone involved. Keep up the great work and tight lines!

    That isn't true. Canoe guy does 1, then 1/2 to come back to half point, pick up packs dropped, then go 1/2 way to finish point, for totsl of 2 distance. For you, you go to 1/2 way, go back for start for another half, pick up remaining bags, then go to finish for another trip, for a total of 2 distaces traveled. Each persons does 2 portage distances. Alternative is to carry all the way, return to start, carry rest of packs for total distance of 3 distances traveled for each person. Therefore its 2 vs. 3 portage distances for esch person.

    Not really, but I have found that when you have a backpack setup like this, it makes it very easy to snag your rod and maybe even break it.
