  I rather have the robot dog. Covering it in fur gives it an uncann valley vibe. Since it's masking what it really is, a non-sentient automaton. It also looks a lot cooler and sci-fi.

  We have an overabundance of dogs in shelters we need to expand on ability to be able to adopt and keep them. They should work on a something that can help with tasks people (seniors, disabled, parents, works long hours) struggle with in dog care instead e.g. grooming, medical care, picking up poop, training, walking and some of their playtime. This puppets few advantages would be for performance and the wealthy that can't keep actual dogs.
