Hello and thanks for visiting our KZread channel. We’re Scarlett, Craig and Merlin and along with Helsing our van, form the PILGRIM PODS!
We thought we’d create a series of vlogs chronicling the conversion of our old panel van HELSING (did you see what we did there?) into a weekend warrioring campervan for ADVENTURING and EXPLORING in the UK.
Each vlog will cover a stage or smaller element of our campervan build, showing our ideas put into action and highlighting our SUCCESSES and FAILURES along the way. With no previous experience this may make for an interesting journey! Our plan is to convert a cheap van on a small budget without cutting corners and at the end, have a campervan to be proud of. We’re hoping you’d like to join us for this journey and that you find our uploads ENTERTAINING and even, INFORMATIVE!

How did the paint job hold up?
The rain was a gift you never knew how to exploit it, wet and dry sanding in the rain 😂
Super informative video! I'm a full time RVer and getting internet has been a crucial aspect for my ability to work remotely. I use homeFi and its been great, super reliable and inexpensive!

Great job! You’re the main inspiration behind my van kitchen build. Just wondering, did you use the same ply that you cut out from the facia as the cupboard doors? If so how did you avoid the drill holes being visible? Cheers!!
I took mine to professionals and they made a right fkn mess of it. Mind you… probably my fault for getting my mates, a solicitor & a chartered accountant, to paint an old van with rattle cans & fluffy rollers. 😁

So how much product did you use to cover the van 2 coats ? Bit confused by the Amazon Webb site, when it states one unit. No idea what one unit means . I have a lab sprinter to do. Two colours, that can be done at different times. Silver/grey over blue Cheers
I just painted my van shame we can't upload photos
If you buy a butane blowtorch and swoosh over the bumper they go back to original colour.

Hey thanks for the video, after watching it I bought a pair of Galaxy/Sharan swiveling chairs for my Boxer van Couple of thoughts, did you finally get lowered seat bases? I am personally looking at my welding invertor, maybe I could actually make ones And of course the airbags, did you connect them? Extra safety never hurts
