  So the 86 died if you hook up a 1amp charger to that battery I hope you got 3+ days before you try to start it

  It doesn’t take that long. Even if a battery is down to 80% charge (10v out of 12v), that’s not enough to start a car, so topping that remaining bit up will take less time. I bet it’s too flat to start but remote locking, lights work, so not like it’s completely discharged.

  Hey, I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll be much help because I only use it for my car battery and leave it on the normal setting that it’s set on and that works fine for me but my battery has gone to the point of no return so I have replaced it and only use the charge kit in case of emergencies

  Doesn’t usually take that long to charge I usually have it on for 4-6 hours take it off and test the battery, I’ve read the manual and once it finishes charging it does like a maintenance mode I think it was where it just checks the battery for faults, have you tested the battery?

  @@VanLeafy I don't have a battery tester and I don't really want to put it in the car incase I drain it any more. I just wondered if this was the usual charging time. I have tried doing the force mode but it goes onto the standby light. I thought my car had a drain but the garage told me it doesn't but the battery wasn't big enough for the car so they put a new battery in it. its been sat on my drive for 2 weeks and its flat.

  @@dropdeadfred73 that’s odd and I haven’t experienced anything like that as that is an extremely long time for the battery to be charging, my opinion would be to get the battery checked as it could be faulty and draining on its own, sorry if I’m not much help
