Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)
The Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) is a multi-stakeholder council that brings leadership together to create and champion solutions to better integrate skilled immigrants in the Toronto Region labour market.
Founded by Maytree and the Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance in 2003, TRIEC is taking action on the underutilization of skilled immigrants' education, talent and experience. TRIEC believes that by bringing all stakeholders together through a council -- employers, regulatory bodies, professional associations, educators, labour, community groups, government and immigrants -- we can develop local and practical solutions.

Hey there! I'm delighted to connect with you. It's wonderful that KZread guided me to your video, and I was truly impressed by your explanation of how Thales utilizes its skilled immigrant staff to maintain its position as a leader in transportation systems worldwide. I found it both impressive and genuine. Your exploration of themes like encouragement and finding meaning in challenging situations is truly commendable. It echoes the central themes of my channel, where I work to provide hope, encouragement, and meaning amidst adversity. Your unique perspective on these topics is highly valued and appreciated. Your video was expertly presented and informative, which is why I not only liked it but also subscribed to your channel. Keep up the outstanding work - I'm eagerly looking forward to more of your content!
Thank you for your kind words. We wish you all the best in your work as well. :)
The presentation offers a valuable opportunity for newcomers to Canada, particularly those working in engineering occupations, to gain insights into communication and cultural aspects crucial for success in the Canadian workplace. By highlighting the expertise of the esteemed panelists, including Ashutosh Bhardwaj, Pradip Jaitly, and Iad Abdul-Rahman, who are not only professionals in their respective fields but also esteemed TRIEC mentors, the presentation ensures credibility and relevance. The emphasis on mentorship further strengthens the support system available to newcomers, offering guidance and assistance as they navigate the nuances of Canadian workplace culture. The inclusion of a website link provides an accessible resource for individuals interested in both becoming mentors and finding mentorship opportunities, facilitating ongoing support beyond the webinar sessions. Overall, the presentation effectively addresses a critical need for newcomers to integrate into the Canadian workforce successfully, showcasing the commitment to inclusivity and support within the community.
Thnx
Outsourcing jobs to HCL in India is not inclusive for Canadians or new Canadians. Woke virtue signalling.

Great video, Samira!
Manulife Canada illegally withheld my elderly widowed mother's annuity payments for 8 years. When her accountant flagged the problem I had to fight manulife for 4 months to restore payment. What should have taken one afternoon and an apology from manulife took 4 months of daily calls, emails, filling out endless forms and stress. Throw your money out the window before you give any to manulife canada.
Remember me ?
Great initiative 👏 👍

Let it be known that USA has been spying on everyone in the world since the Patriot Act. Having China spy wouldn't make a difference. But of course these are all allegations. I'm proud Huawei is in Canada. Mobile service providers in Canada have been a joke. Limited Minutes. Little to no Data, and most of all outstanding billing. My last provider charged me $50 for going over a few minutes. With Wind I won't have that problem. At least now there is competition, and at reasonably priced as well.
Its a amazing company to work for, but something tells me that you need a phd to work in a lab.
Congrats to Dunstan and Usman :) ... Keep it up guys
