That was a beautiful tiger, still had stong stripes, you mentioned you'd rather catch a 10ft bull, thats exactly what Brett and Tal caught up Frazer island, i dont know if you know of them, Costal Chaos, the huge 10ft bull was in top condition

No, that was a long liners hook, it had 2 hooks in it, we didn't have time to get it out, u can tell it's not ours by how rusty it is. We got ours out with our dehooker.

@@liltimothy8109I am being realistic when I tell you that I use barbless for every species of fish except bass as they tend to get leverage on the jig or lure and throw the hook quite easily. But for all other species there's no difference - except that it's far easier to catch and release when there isn't a barb. Stainless steel hooks can stick in a fishes' mouth for a long time, and cause infection. Sharks have cartilaginous jaws so the hook will penetrate alright. So if you are a competent angler there shouldn't be any problems in bringing them in. With a barbless hook, you can just shunt it out and release the fish easily. With a barb, that process is more difficult. All in all I feel it's a better way to handle an adversary that deserves respect.

They always come back your right they normally make about a quarter mile turn and pick it back up I used to do a lot of boating out baits in Freeport Tx and port O’Conner and it is expensive for all the tackle you need but worth it did it for many many years but shifted to marlin fishing but I miss shark fishing I’m tired of sharks in a boat but miss the beach
