The Germans and Italians tried with all their might to pound Malta into submission throughout the war. The people on the island suffered mightily through incredibly poor conditions on the verge of starvation as the British and US Navy fought through with the convoys of supplies that were Malta’s lifeline. Some of the convoys barely had any ships left by the time they arrived through the enemy bombing and U boat attacks. Even those that made port in Malta weren’t unscathed. Some needed to be hastily unloaded as they were literally sinking alongside the piers ! The ECM will adapt the fuel/spark tables based on the octane it senses in use. As you mentioned that will indeed raise the horsepower. I’ve seen gains as high as 50hp due to octane/fuel type changes so it’s a valid point. For me though, what mandated use of premium fuel is in either a performance application or where direct injection is used. Once you see the carbon buildup from using regular fuel you become a believer in premium ! Not to mention RELIGIOUS use of oil separators, ESPECIALLY when the vehicle has a power adder like a supercharger or turbo.
@bardstables89092 ай бұрын
I did add a catch can when I brought it home, and you make a valid point about carbon build up. I'm just not sure I can justify the added cost of premium for the amount I use it and what I use it for. Now a high horsepower car or truck, that may be a different story. Lol

Great review. Thank you. Your Bronco is awesome by the way. I'm 57 years old and have never owned a brand-new vehicle. I live in NYC and never cared about owning anything nice here. Terrible things are done to cars in this city, so I always buy used. This is the very first vehicle that I am considering buying brand new. Yes, it was my mistake in the video on the turbo. Thank you for catching that. The Toyota FJ has a curve around the spare tire built in the tailgate to allow you to open the window and access the back storage area without opening the door. They should have at least done that. It’s hard to believe “Wildtrack” is only a sticker on a $80,000 vehicle. Still though, Ford has done an awesome job bringing this vehicle to us.

Nice review! I don’t know of one vehicle that every single person 100% loves about every aspect of it. I see many people nit picking about the bronco because it’s too loud driving on the highways , fuel mileage isn’t great etc….its a Bronco not a economical luxury car… It’s more of a mild off road vehicle even tho it has good manors on the highway and back roads….its a much better daily driver than a Jeep imo. I’ve recently bought a 23 outer banks SASQ in the same color. Love the power of the 2.7 and many of the features the bronco offers, I’m not a fan of all the electronics and computer stuff but that’s what’s all manufactures are doing…..it’s slightly difficult getting in the bronco but a minor sacrifice…..other than that I’m in love with mine.
@bardstables89093 ай бұрын
Thank you my friend. That's one thing I try to get across, is that I love the Bronco and my mustang. But there is no such thing as a perfect vehicle. Thank God, otherwise there wouldn't be any aftermarket companies so that we can make them our own. And you are correct, when finding faults one needs to take into account what they are complaining about. Anyway, I didn't think any of my gripes were anything major, just things that could've been done better imo. I also agree with you that it is better than a jeep. My wife drives a jeep, and u can't stand that thing. And I find getting in to the Bronco isn't as bad as getting out of it. But that might just be me. Lol. Thank you for watching, and taking the time to comment.

@@bardstables8909 totally agree! Upgrading to personalize a vehicle is half the fun…I’ve already added a CVX exhaust and a FMS tuner. Hope this helps !

Absolutely brother. Many years ago I was in Alaska. Me and a buddy were doing some off road trail driving when we came up on an old IH scout. Suddenly we saw smoke from his hood. We all stopped and that was when I saw the flames coming out from his front driver wheel well. I immediately grabbed my extinguisher and ran up to him just before he was going to open the hood. I told him no and was able to put the fire out. He asked me how he could re pay me and I just asked that he replace my extinguisher. Which he never did off course. Thanks for the video. I have the same exact Bronco down to the color. For the windshield, you can PPF it. That's what a lot of people in my neck of the woods do for all of their cars, not just Broncos. Our guy charges about $500 for most cars. PPF won't stay perfect, but you won't have to replace the windshield, saving you that hassle and maintaining your factory seal. I agree with you on the window buttons. It's weird to have them there in the center arm console. I rode in a Mercedes ML series SUV and they have the window switches in the center also. Maybe Ford copied that? Jeep is worse, as theirs is on the center dash by the radio. Wheels are a personal pref, but I happen to like them. As for the interior lights, definitely dark in the cabin, especially the back seat, but they do make various third party light options to remedy that. Sorry to see all the scratches by the seat belt, same issue can happen in any Ford, given all of their cars use similar plastics somewhere in the cabin. My gripe is the factory rubberized floor mats. Didn't see if you have them, but my back seat mat has a really cool looking Bronco (horse) on it, but on the first time driving, my passengers scuffed the black areas of the mat with there shoes by just sitting in the middle back seat and it doesn't come out. Obviously this is an off-road vehicle designed to be beat up and a little scuff is nothing to think twice about, unless you're OCD. Lastly, the charging pad...I think that is an issue with our phones, not the pad itself. I could be wrong, but my iPhone gets super hot on any charging pad.
@bardstables89094 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I too have the rubberized floor mats. But I also have the carpeted ones, which maybe I'll use in the summer? Not sure about that yet. And true, the wheels are a personal thing, lots of people have said they like them. They aren't terrible by any means. I love the color. I have gotten so many compliments on it, hopefully you have also. My salesman told me that was actually an old color that Ford use to use on the escape and it wasn't real popular. I think it looks good on the Bronco. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@bardstables8909 I deliberately searched my area for this color when purchasing my Bronco. It seems to be less common where I live and I think it will stand the test of time. Some of the other specialty colors IMO will look very dated in a few years. I've had people literally stop me and ask the name of the color, so lots of compliments. I think HPR was first introduced in 2019, but don't quote me on that. Not sure on popularity, but I know they retired Rapid Red around that time. The other less common color where I live is Eruption Green which is pretty sweet too, but I like more pop in my colors. The heritage colors are very cool too and super rare.
@bardstables89094 ай бұрын

Once you see the carbon buildup from using regular fuel you become a believer in premium ! Not to mention RELIGIOUS use of oil separators, ESPECIALLY when the vehicle has a power adder like a supercharger or turbo.
I did add a catch can when I brought it home, and you make a valid point about carbon build up. I'm just not sure I can justify the added cost of premium for the amount I use it and what I use it for. Now a high horsepower car or truck, that may be a different story. Lol
87-88 fox body 🐴🔥🫡💯
It's hot isn't it?
@bardstables8909 yes sir..🔥🏁👑💯
White Saleen sn95
It's pretty nice. I may try and get an interview with Scott some day about his Saleen.
88 is the way to go.
I agree. it just didn't make sense to pay for the better fuel. No advantage, really.
LMAO! Complains about hood struts ... and buys 10 dollar Amazon ditch lights for his "80,000" dollar Wildtrak 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the video. I think we'd rather hear the v8s howling than the soundtrack tbh
So would I, problem is the wind noise is cancels it out, which is why I put the soundtrack in there.
I love Jeeps and would still buy a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport any day, but this Ford Bronco has piqued my interest like never before. Thanks again for the review. Have fun and stay safe out there 🙂
Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it. If you do buy one in sure you'll not regret it. They are so much fun and after driving it this winter for the first time, I've never felt more safe, or in control. And I drove it for the first time the other day top less, and that was awesome. If you do get one, come back on here and let us know please.
Why do I have pepper spray in your hand? Good vid with a fee inaccuracies
Not sure if that was a typo or not. I don't have pepper spray in my hand. Lol. Never even owned pepper spray. The one thing I was wrong on is when u said it was a single turbo. I realised after the video that was incorrect, so my apologies. If I was wrong on something else please let me know. I don't want to mislead anyone.
Its a twin turbo and the window controls are not on door because it saves weight and keeps doors lighter for removal. Jeep does the same thing as well. Also it seems like your a vet so want to say Thank You for Your Service 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes, it was my mistake in the video on the turbo. Thank you for catching that. As for the window controls I can see your point, but I also can't imagine an extra pound, maybe, would make that much difference. I still can't get used to it and I've had the thing for 5 months now. Lol. Thank you on the service. My daughter is following in my footsteps, almost. She is smarter than me, though, and picking something that will help her more when she gets out.
I definitely agree. I love my Bronco, and some of my gripes are more life wishes than complaints. Thank you for watching my friend.
Looks nice... the rainbow 🌈 feature nick might like it.
That's just the first one that came up. Not the one I use daily. Lol
Really woke up the 2.7 …feels like a really healthy v8 …again not a fan of the v6 sound but not a deal breaker. Not doing much more to mine so it doesn’t alter the warranty, maybe later on I’ll do more.
@markcole6475 if you buy from Ford performance, you won't lose your warranty. Not sure if you were aware of that or not.
My Nissan Pro 4x has a light in the glove box!
See, that's what I mean. It's stupid, I mean it couldn't be that hard or cost that much more. It's not make or break, just the small details.
All that time... Shoot.
I know right? But, I've found something else. Stay tuned for it to come in a few weeks.
Definitely not an upgrade I would have been interested in so this was a happy ending for at least the Navy rep lol 😂 Sorry you had to waste time and effort to find out that it didn’t do what you wanted Bro !
Me too brother. But we'll move forward. Lol
The Raptor has the live valve version of the 3.0s
^Fox shocks
Yes, I love the ones on here. I've driven the F150 raptor, but not the Bronco raptor. But I've got no complaints with these.
@@bardstables8909 My 89 Bronco was by far my fav vehicle ever. I’ve switched sides lately to Toyota but am really having a difficult time choosing between a new Bronco or waiting for the new 4Runner. Total first world problem lol🤷♂️
@jasonlivers4293 definitely, lol. I'd take the Bronco, at least you can take the top off of you feel like it.
Why’s there so much white smoke at the end?
Because it's not smoke. Water vapor, like exhaust on a cold day.
@@bardstables8909 oh gotcha, just looked like allot, sounds great though
@search402 thank you my friend. And thank you for watching.
Interesting rig, and despite having a lot you like for your DD, they left you opportunity for improvement with modifications. Sounds like a win win !!!
Yes, it's opportunity to make it mine. Perfect doesn't exist in my world. Lol
I hear you Bro. I still throw parts at the LandCrab lol 😂
Nice early touches Bro ! Most folks don’t put stock in fire suppression but it’s definitely better to have and not need than to need and not have ! I’d recommend a panel prep type alcohol based cleaner for use when lettering to ensure cleanliness and adhesion, and a quick tip for the shackles you installed: On the boat and barges we always screw the shackles in tight and then back them off a quarter turn so they don’t seize.
Anyway, since then I've always had one in every car I've ever owned.
That ole ounce of prevention ALWAYS trumps a pound of cure lol !
@skipgumphrey9579 you know it. I've seen way too many car fires that could've been prevented.
Bro your living life
Life is short, gotta go all out. Lol
Slow catching up… had to finally deal with Covid, and now recovering from a recent surgery. If you make it out this way with the Jury we can take my LandCrab out and get them dirty ;) Looks like you’re having fun with it already !
That I am brother. I would love that, and you've got a deal. Probably won't be this year, but next next year I plan on retiring, then, you're on.
mirror shine
What do you like about your Ford bronco? “I don’t know?” If you don’t like so many things then get rid of it! Easy. I love everything about mine.
Well good for you. I never said I hated anything. Only that things can be improved upon. And if you think it's perfect, then congratulations to you. I have never found the "perfect" vehicle in my life. There's always something that be done better. But I guess that's just me. Thank you for watching.
Bravo Zulu !
Looks great! Good call on swapping out the OEM lug nuts. I've always had problems with them corroding and swelling. Nice mods and beautiful bronco!
Thank you brother. Some have commented they don't like the lug nuts. But you can't please everyone, and personally, I like them.
I consider u a friend @@bardstables8909
I always believed in u
I'll take that as a compliment.
Same problem herThanks for video problems fixed
Awesome! So happy that it worked for you.
Those red lug nuts look cheap and dumb
Thank you for watching.
Please address why you did that to your lug nuts ….@@bardstables8909
Agree
The lettering looks sharp.
Thanks bud. I thought it looked better too.
I live in Florida and I have a 22 bronco wild track and my seats never get that hot
I'm glad to hear that. The only other car I have leather in is my Mustang, and those are ventilated. Thank you for letting me know.
So there is a front camera relocate option if you want to put a winch on the front. Thanks for the video. Your wife’s fall off the ladder looked like it hurt.
That wasn't really her, I just thought it was funny. Lol. Yes, I found that out. I may do it, not sure yet. I need to do some more research on it I think. Thank you for watching.
I haven't seen this color yet where I live either. I think because it costs extra most people won't pay for it. I ordered mine just because I'm sick of seeing black, gray, silver, and white. The blue is nice, but it clashes with everything in my garage. Lol
