  Correct,,, However, original VW keys are steel and will rust. These obviously were steel keys but not OEM.

  floors are there but soft. I will replace them.

  Those are not original Volkswagen keys. Volkswagen keys have the VW logo stamped through the top.

  Nice catch! I've Seen a 66 VW Bug in the country and it was a drag version and I'm pretty sure it was practicing for the drags 'cause it was drag season.

  Thanks again, Roger. A project car is never done, and I have a laundry list of things to worry about with this car. The engine is no longer one of those concerns. One problem at a time. I’ll be back soon for more work.

  It is from Vintage Speed, they sell a muffler to fit the rear of the late model FI engine apron. Single pipe out the factory hole. All Stainless Steel.

  Nope. I will correct that, get one on order. Not going to have a cheap TO Bearing in between this new engine.
