I agree that Goku may be galaxy level and db fandom usually inflates too much this character. Nevertheless, its absurd to compare two characters by their strenght. Do you know how easy is to create a powerful character? In the other hand, i think the best comparison is the "character comparison". Who is better written? Who is more iconic? Who is funnier? Another example: everybody knows that Homelander is actually weak as sh1t, but bro, he's one of the most terrifying and well-written villains of modern age. He would lose on a 1v1 fight with saitama, of course, but he is without doubt a much better and more interesting character. Lastly, I wanted to make clear that DB is my favourite franchise by far, but bro this fandom is so blind when it comes to scale goku. They pick every anime scene and every guide scan to prove that Goku is far above what he really is in the MANGA.

I agree that Goku may be galaxy level and db fandom usually inflates too much this character. Nevertheless, its absurd to compare two characters by their strenght. Do you know how easy is to create a powerful character? In the other hand, i think the best comparison is the "character comparison". Who is better written? Who is more iconic? Who is funnier? Another example: everybody knows that Homelander is actually weak as sh1t, but bro, he's one of the most terrifying and well-written villains of modern age. He would lose on a 1v1 fight with saitama, of course, but he is without doubt a much better and more interesting character.
