Hey... you reviewed a game I already own, that doesn't happen very often. This is a good little game. True, you don't really need the chips or holder... but it does add a little class to the whole thing. It's really simple, but that's not a bad thing, I don't want to have to play a four hour long game which demands a degree in nuclear physics, everytime I have a few friends around for a session. I need to check, but I think according to the rules in the box, you're supposed to draw a card at the end of your turn, but your way - drawing it at the beginning - seems to work too. Maybe I'm wrong about this, I might be confusing it with some other game, I need to check the rules... Great video there mate, but that's not unusual, Here's a thumbs up for you.👍

Great review, thanks. I've had this game since I was a kid; I haven't played since then but it was fun to re-visit. One clarification, though: when one of the boxers wins a flurry, he scores a knockdown. It's not simply one move of the piece.

This looks like a fun game. I’ll have to find me a copy. I like how the artwork on the cards is Rich Uncle Pennybags from various Monopoly cards. That’s cool 😎

Yo bro! This game is great! I use to play this with my Mom, Sister, and Grandma on my Dad's side of the family. Fun game! We would just play with a deck of cards. I found this game complete at a thrift shop years ago and now me and my family play it every now and then. Great game! Great review! 🙂👍❤️

Very comprehensive review. Many thanks. Especially liked the way that you went thru all of the different types of Tactic cards. I played many, many games of the original RISK during the 1980s, and STRIKE looks much better distilled (well there has been 30+ years available to perfect it !!), with the Tactic cards giving it an added dimension over some of the other forms that I've played. One of my favorite aspects of original RISK (playing with the UK mission cards) was the way in which these cards added some great diplomacy and 'social deduction' aspects to the game, where you could (for example) try to make a less experienced opponent paranoid that a third party was trying to disadvantage them in some way, so that they would retaliate, and thereby distracting the third party from (for example) interfering with your mission objective. That was just one of endless possible scenarios, where discussions would rage on about (for example) whether X was attempting to conquer Australia merely for the additional armies, or because it was part of their mission objective (this 'social deduction' angle was way ahead of its time). If there had been a way to alleviate the prolonged dice battles, and thereby shorten the least necessary part of the game, then I reckon the original RISK (plus UK mission cards) would still tick a number of boxes for me.

Thanks so much for watching! I agree, they didn't do a bad job turning such a classic game into a card game. I also agree with your assessment of RISK. Great games all the way around. I appreciate your comments!

This looks like yet another fun game brought to us by BGM Productions! 🎬😂 Oddly enough, and for no immediately obvious reason, I'm not rushing out to find where I can get a copy of this one. I don't know why, I know I'd really like to play it, maybe I need to try it before I buy it in this instance? But I really enjoyed your video, the game looks like it's a cracker, and the components are classy. Great video BGM, keep 'em coming! 👏

I can tell you sir, the number of games I've bought after watching GameNight, pales into insignificance compared to what you've made me do. Example: Just today I got the Bob Ross Art of Chill game you reviewed a few weeks ago. I'd never have looked twice at it, except for you. My bank manager is most displeased with you! 😂

Excellent video as always there BGM. For some reason, Sagrada is a game I still haven't purchased. There's no real reason for this, and it's a great game, one I really do want to add to my collection, but it just seems to keep getting pushed back each month. This month, for example, I'm going to be ordering MLEM Space Agency after seeing a playthrough on "GameNight!", and so poor old Sagrada has been pushed back again. I'm so glad you had a great result with the two new players, it's always a good feeling when that happens. The funny thing is, if they were people who thought games were limited to Monopoly, Cluedo, Chess and Tic Tac Toe, chances are they would never have heard of this game before. Anyway, must run along, but you definitely hit the mark with this video as far as I'm concerned.

Also, we've had a ton of fun with Seventh Hero over the years (you skipped over it in the video lol). Of the games I've played, I would have to say Kingdom Builder is probably my fav in your collection. Love that game and all of its expansions. I'm looking forward to checking out your other vids!
