The triggercam is definitely a robust and streamlined unit. I've had mine for a couple of years now and it's been great. Also, the blade bit on the end of the tool is used to adjust the focus but it's still difficult. I do like the focus knob on the scopemate. Great review.

My experiences with various ammunition lots are different. I shoot Sellier & Bellot 168 gr in .308 win. Here I have noticed differences in muzzle velocity of 17 m/s (approx. 56 ft/s) between two batches, which is also clearly reflected in the point of impact. I bought the two batches from the same dealer about 6 weeks apart. I assume that Hornady has completely reworked your cartridge. Presumably a different powder or a different quantity of powder and different primers. This means that the muzzle velocity has changed, but not the point of impact. Greetings from Austria, Hans

Thank you for explaining what they are made for. All I've seen is people "you gotta get this! You gotta get that!" But never explain wtf the this it that does. Honestly i think the wind plays a bigger role the the harmonics of the average person's barrel. Not till your looking at 1+mile shots then you even need to take the Earth's rotation into play.

Nice video. It's all so amazing to see how many know it all's write comments. You video did show they both work. I am going to purchase another EC-Tuner and it seems they don't have any first generations in stock the caliber I need and no back orders so they may be discontinued. It is good to see that the second generation works pretty much the same. Not crazy about the bigger end that was put on to better grip it to adjust it. But it's probably necessary. There are pros and cons to both models. I do like the first generation I have and most likely would be as happy with the second generation after buying as well. Thanks again nice video.
