I have this unit. Best thing since sliced bread. I modified the table from fixed to a slide out (video on youtube) Works great. I have the buddy heater and a propane lantern. The lantern can keep the interior quite comfortable. I put paperclip rod holders on the ends of the slide out table. I put the buddy up front in the center, sounder next to it and holes close to the corners. Plenty of room and no disturbance of gear on entrance or egress. I also have 1.5 x 2 food carpet pads for one's feet. Set up takes about 45 seconds (once you learn the sequence)

Question in your opinion could you fit a cot in it or sleep in it somehow I currently have a quick flip 2 and put a cot in there to sleep but I really want a new house
@zacksandstrom80525 жыл бұрын
Dominic Dreyling the seats aren’t very easily removable making it a little more difficult to fit a cot. However you could probably fit a cot in the open fishing area. The sled itself is actually quite roomy, so you could potentially make a sleeping area out of it. I’d recommend finding a local dealer that has one set up for you to check out in person.
@hatto0185 жыл бұрын
I very much disagree ... the tub is tiny, hard to pack stuff because the hubs and tent take it all up. Stick to something with a big sled or just a big hub... In my humble unlearned opinion the sled isn't oriented correctly to utilize the space... the sides have two areas that are wasted .. I agree with them on Marine General... They have a web site. . Local!

@zacksandstrom80526 жыл бұрын
Michael Prevost it is easy to take down and put away. The hub is attached to the sled so you basically pop them in, fold each side down and it’s good to go. As for durability, it has been used only about 10 times. It belongs to a friend of mine. As far as I know it is holding up fine, but don’t quote me on that.

@zacksandstrom80527 жыл бұрын
Greg H Yes, I also have an Otter Cabin Pro I and it stays extremely warm with little heat. This Eskimo shelter isn't quite as warm, however the shape doesn't let the wind not penetrate as much. I would go with either house from day to day, it's just a preference on style really. Thanks for commenting.
