Welcome! We're John and Melanie, and we're big fans of exploring new places, new hobbies and new horizons - the "x" behind our exploration!
We live in northeast Oklahoma, and both have full-time careers, which means a lot of the content you'll see here is what we do in our spare time. We enjoy exploring nature in our surrounding region, building something we've never built in the garage, or taking in a new part of the USA that we've never been to before. Taking our Jeep off road, camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors are prominent features of our videos. It's fun to look back at the memories we capture with a GoPro, drone or still photograph. We hope you enjoy our adventures, and thanks for watching!

Hi. I'm considering getting a Kammok Crosswing. Does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it? Did you get the 5 foot or 7 foot version? Also, does it make too much noise when driving? Thx.
Ours is the 7 foot version. After about 6 months of having it, I’m extremely satisfied - it’s great to have an awning that can quickly be deployed if a shower pops up or you need to get out of the heat. I haven’t heard any road noise, but it’s (a) attached to our teardrop and (b) we have a fairly loud exhaust on the jeep, so I’m not sure I’d notice any road noise.
How are you finding the trials in Onx? I am not seeing any of them. Thanks!
I exported them from where they were posted publically on Gaia, and then imported them. They'll all import the same color, so if you use any sort of color scheme to identify trails, you'll have to edit that (which is what I did) None of them are named officially, so all the names you see is how our group named them.
which size is that?
It’s the 7 ft version
What wheels are on the gray 4 door?
Black Rhino but the specific wheels were discontinued because Fuel purchased them and then came out with a similar wheel
We need captions
Done! I had to manually add them, so you'll have to give me feedback on how I did.
Thanks for coming to the GAC in Disney! What you labeled as The Couches is actually Viagra
Oh cool - thanks for the info! I tried to get as close to naming stuff as possible with the GRDA map, but there's so many great obstacles that its hard to really know if you're getting the right one!
How tall is the awning?
It’s just under 7’-0” from the ground; John is 6’-4”, for reference.
OMG! That Gladiator! 😍😁
It’s a thing of beauty - did you see the obstacles it climbed over?! Amazing!!
Cool
thank you!
Spooky spiders 🕷🕷 are awesome😁 That was quite the chopping to get through those logs. It's cool to find these old cemeteries and visit them. We get to wonder about the people in them and their lives lived. Could it be coyote poo? I love your trailer! I look forward to seeing more of your videos😃
Thank you so much! We hadn’t thought of the coyote poo - my guess was maybe a bobcat.
@@exploration_x I guess it may be bobcat too. I was going to ask cougar as well, but then I looked up where you were and I saw there was talk of reintroducing them, but I wasn't sure if they had done so. It's something that ate that fur and I'd lean towards a canine.
Makes sense - appreciate the insight!
Sir, excuse me sir, that picture labeled the Wailing wall was actually Little Blue, the wailing wall is just above that closer to the damn.
Thanks for the update! I tried to get as close to the correct spot as possible based off the GRDA map of the area, but its tough when there are so many named obstacles all together.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure!
In the video at 33.:00 next time go left it will take you to Buds cabin & the old Union school house & it’s one heck of a fun ride. Ya can google Ozark Overland & the high water mark trail & a few others to see what you missed
Wow - appreciate the advice so much! We’ve been wanting to check both of those spots out!
Nice setup!!
Thanks! Glad you think so!
Awesome video guys! Nothing like exploring the Ozarks. Getting a little more build on my JLU and then on starting my own channel. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! Beautiful scenery always helps. Good luck with build - definitely one of the funnest parts about having a Jeep
Is that High Bank or Wolf Camp?
Wolf Pen, just a bit east of High Bank
