I animate using FireAlpaca to draw the images and Hitfilm 4 Express to give them motion. Both of those programs are free and great. I highly recommend them. I also used Moho 12 (Anime Studio) for the lip-sync scenes, but it's pretty bad as a drawing program. I use FireAlpaca to draw.
A few videos are exceptions to the process above. Adobe Animate was used exclusively for the following videos: Nobilis, D&D Character Cat, Should the GM Cheat, and Critical Role. However, I switched back because I didn't like Adobe Animate as a drawing program.
Also, all of my artwork, for the first year, was made using a mouse. The "Critical Role Animation" video was the first one where I used a drawing tablet (Cintiq 13HD).
I use a Blue Yeti microphone.

That story is awesome, though at least in 5e, SINCE you said they were high level PC's, I'm guessing either not optimized or not that strong. The PCs I DM for aren't this easy, especially because the Nalfeshnee is low in power even for a CR 13. I've had groups (of 4) nuke that thing down at literally level 8 with equipped with slightly below average magic items, using MAYBE 20% resources, it didn't even last 2 full rounds. Partially because it's AC was too low, and magic weapon spell is far too easy a fix. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I wish monsters by the book were a LOT more powerful. I need 3rd party/custom material for it to even feel like a real fight. Power gaming PC's are far more than the rules were designed for.

Rather than splitting reality in two I would have had the players roll up new characters for the same quest. After all, multiple groups were heading to find the gold.

Those old cards are played in gift decks xD, I mean that there are cards that the effect is that you give a card to the opponent, once a friend gave me the leveler so I lost the game, I dont see any other way that card could be played xD.
I ran CoS and when I saw the Gurtruda thing in the book, I was just so ick'd out. The book technically doesn't state how old she is, but the way they present her feels like at the oldest she is freshly 18 and at the youngest 14/15. Regardless of the situation, finding her in Strahd's bed under the Charm Effect from Strahd just felt like a can of worms. I get that WotC wanted to give us all the reasons to not like Strahd, but they didn't need to make him look like he needed the FBI called on him for the white van and candy.

An interesting if doffernet take. I appreciste that, as ive grown older, ive started to like complex rules more. Pf2e is defo complex rules, but they serve a purpose of greater and greater freedom. If you consider the "creativity in a box" idea, I think pf2e is one of the best bixes ive ever seen. The insanity that i know someone whose played 3 clerics in back to back camphains and has said each of them felt mechanically and fundamentally different is such a boon to the system. I do see your point in it being crunchy, but its also crunchy in the best way in my opinion. +1 seems like nothing, but in a good party ypu'll habe a way to give youeself a +1, your team mates will give you antphwr +1, and then tactical play with ypur team could give you as much as +4 to hit, but you have to engage with them and the system and the fight to do that. Ive not had a fight yet in pf2e that I've felt bored dueing my teams turn yet, and thats because their turns matter to me. If they move and take his reaction, my turn is inpacted. If they grapple him that might change my turn entierly. If they cass bane then i need to work out how to work with that effect to increase its effectivness. Tldr: i see your point, but i cant go back to 5e after playing this. Its everything i wished 5e had been.

That he mentioned picking a Warpriest would mean that he probably started with Essentials, which does indeed have much more limited ability choices as it was intended as a simpler onboarding approach. For a mental image, you know those intro character sheets where it also adds what you get at level 2/3? Imagine that but all the way up to level 30, admittedly with some choices between 2-3 powers. Not surprised one would find it less than filling in terms of choices.
I've run alot of genesys, the setting agnostic version of the system used for fantasy flight star wars. In my experience players really enjoy the narrative dice system, it has baggage here and there when it's hard to interpret roles, but for the most part people like it.

In which world does 10x5 equal 12?! I'm thinking about this for 5 minutes now and I literally can't find ANY way in which 10x5 would equal 12, no read as 10d5, not read as 10.5, not read as 10*2-5, there's LITERALLY no way to get to 12 from 10x5 xD

I think the lesson is that players should be able to change characters if they start to not like them. The fact you couldn’t have a story reason to leave so it resulted you to go to extreme lengths speaks for itself.

The thing I noticed in most of such horror stories, both from DMs and from players is that the DMs are just REALLY bad and/or lazy DMs in terms of actually 'mastering' instead of just do what a module tells them to do. Information X is at Place A but it's obvious that the group will NEVER go to Place A? Well, how about you tell the module to fuck off and relocate the information to Place B? Being a DM is NOT just acting along the module, being a DM is improvising a fun and interesting adventure, if this works alongside the module? Cool! If it doesn't? Yeah fuck the module, it's your responsibility as DM to MAKE it work

I forget if I've responded to this or not. My Barbarian managed to rock his shit. The dragon fight happened before. It was a nasty encounter, but my barb managed to avoid being hit at all. (The dragon fire straffed the fortress.)
