    Does this one clean better? What was it about the 5105 that you didn’t like?

  • @averagemaintenance3875
    @averagemaintenance3875Сағат бұрын

    I gifted my 5105 to my son and wanted to buy same brand but a little bit simpler due to current prices . Both clean the same good. Old one was more technologically advanced. In my opinion one thing that is better with new one is noise. New one is a little bit more quieter.

    Have you ever found a way to convert it from kilometers per hour to miles per hour? The manufacturer says hold the minus key on the remote and then power it on and it should give you an option but mine never has.

    Hey guys, I have a 2011 Toyota Camry SE, with a 2.5K 4Cylinder engine. When the car was first bought by my mom, she was told it was a SEALED transmission and that the fluid was good for the life of the car. Unfortunately, she listened to that claim and never changed the transmission fluid. The car was given to me with around 160K miles on it. Come to find out, its NOT actually a sealed transmission, and the dipstick is just on the bottom of the car. I have heard that you should not change the trans fluid if it’s past 100,000 because it can do more harm than good, but I really want to change it. Should I still change the trans oil? Ik this may be a bit of a newbie question but I’m still learning about cars 🙏🙏

  • @averagemaintenance3875
    @averagemaintenance387514 күн бұрын

    It is definitely risky, and ultimately, it is up to you.. Based on what you say that you really want to change it, you could at least check the condition of fluid by doing what I have done. Take out a small amount of fluid, and put the same amount back. You will refresh the condition of fluid and won't disturbe seals and gears. If all is good, you could do it again after a few thousand miles. The goal is to have fluid redish and not black. Good luck.

  • @averagemaintenance3875

    I don't remember the exact time needed to fully charge the battery, but if you are hardwiring the Ring, then you only need to charge it enough to set it up. After that, Ring will be charged through the wires. I hope this helps.

    Wow for the first time I lucked out in that I have practically the same model. The only difference is the settings on mine are on the door, not on the top. The filter is identical and I just checked it. It’s very clean. Dirty dishes go in the sink. Before going into the dishwasher I give them a rinse with super hot water. I don’t put pots in there, just the lids. I usually do a quick wash and dry. Is this a bad thing? Three hours seems too long.

  • @averagemaintenance3875
    @averagemaintenance387517 күн бұрын

    I do the rinsing with hot water and would do quick wash if dishes are mostly clean. If dishes are oily and a bit stubborn with dirt than I would do Normal or Auto wash. I think it is not bad what you doing. Once only I needed to wash it again after grilling because stain could still be seen on dishes.

    People kill me with saying this washer is loud. At this price point it is extremely quiet. What you here is the belt driven motor turning the tub. I'm guessing at a high price point maybe that is more insulated from the outside. Mine is so quiet I can close the laundry room door and you don't hear anything elsewhere in the house. Even rooms next to the laundry room.

    It is loud. I am guessing you live in a newer home than mine. My house is over 100 years old and every time the washer fills, those old pipes go klunk klunk klunk! Yes, I do have copper pipes, but it’s an old house. Nevertheless, my previous top load Kenmore washer was nowhere near this loud.

    When you put wire back are you sure that wire is connected? If not, solder it together as I did. If connection is good, something else could be bad. Check all other connections, and since you drop it, make sure that nothing obvious is broken. Good luck.

    So many problems with this installation. National code requires the a GFCI outlet. As well, code does not allow the outlet to be installed in the same cavity as the appliance. The outlet is missing the cover. Finally, you have a 20 Amp outlet in what appears to be a 15 Amp (14 gauge) wiring. You didn't show leveling of the appliance. NEVER install sealing tape on compression fitting threads. The threads only hold the compression fitting tight and does nothing for sealing.

    So far I have seen two videos and everybody's doing it all wrong do you not realize there's a filter in inside that transmission and then probably three or four magnets that's got that covered metal that you need to get off the magnets and start with fresh clean fluid and a new filter it's like changing your motor oil and not take the old filter off the filters full of metal is full of fibers is full of clutch felt come on guys mechanics if you going to be out there trying to teach somebody how to do things the right way don't do it don't show him the wrong way you can lose a $3,000 transmission job for a 48 dollar filter kit add a roll of shop towels to the clean the pan out and the magnets . Teach it right or don't teach it at all God bless you and Israel.😊ken
