  I've heard this song and several versions of it from Elvis to this one by Andy Gibb and this one is my utmost favorite. Andy sings it from his heart with a lot of feelings.

  Bonsoir, c'est triste de constater certains commentaires ici et de lire des mensonges sur Victoria Principal. En juin 1978, Andy devient le premier artiste à avoir trois numéros 1 consécutifs avec Shadow Dancing, coécrit par les quatre frères Gibb. Il aura d'autres succès surtout aux États-Unis entre septembre 1978 et juin 1981. En panne d'inspiration en raison de son addiction à la cocaïne et à l'alcool, il traverse une longue période incertaine. Il se fait soigner en Californie en 1985, mais ses tentatives successives pour en finir avec son addiction se solderont par des échecs. Même Victoria Principal, dont il est très amoureux au début des années 1980, lui demandera de choisir entre elle et la drogue, en vain. Il parvient néanmoins à s'en sortir au printemps 1987. En 1985, il fait une apparition dans l'épisode 9 de la première saison de la série télé Punky Brewster. En 1988, il signe un nouveau contrat avec Island Records pour enregistrer un album au Royaume-Uni. Le 7 mars de la même année, alors qu'il travaille sur cet album, il est victime de maux d'estomac et de douleurs dans la cage thoracique. Admis d'urgence à l'hôpital Radcliffe à Oxford, les médecins le renvoient deux fois chez lui, ne décelant pas immédiatement la gravité de son état (en fait une myocardite), du fait qu'ils ne sont pas au courant de son passé médical.

  Barry’s Twin. Barry has said that Andy’s death killed his father. Losing the “baby” is always extra painful.. I wish Andy was still here with Barry. 😢 Hugh was a very nice looking man. I see Barry in his face.
