1st time here. great video. I got here cos the utube algorithm added this vid to my suggestions when watching some true crime stuff. I thus assume the angle on history is from a 'sociology of deviance/criminology' pov. The title provides some insight on a possible interest in historical crimes/deviant behavior rather than simply history interest, if this is the case colour me interested. :). I also like the interest in politically motivated crimes - so much focus these days is given to street crimes but corruption and white colar crimes (and their motifs) impact (/damage) society much more, understanding what motivates people to hang on to positions of power is still understood very little and I am captivated by any attempt to investigate high society criminology. I dream of a justice system that gives the biggest convictions to the crimes that affect more people. Crimes committed by multinationals or law makers for profit destroy lives, society and our planet and are the worst. Understanding criminal motivation is central to this (the more profit the more motif i guess?). ty: this is the way.

For God, glory, and gold, they set forth to the new world. These bands of conquistadors weren't exactly independent expeditions. The idea of conquest was from the dreams of these men and made possible by creditors most often. The enterprise of conquest required different types of talent for success. You needed the lawyer types that secured the funds and legal contracts and to also make sure the manner of the expedition was in accordance with expectations so you can actually keep the wealth they rusked their life for. You need men for planning and securing supplies and then the most important part the fighting men. All was needed to create successful expeditions.

Hello Sir. Thank God I am fortunate to come across your channel which is commendable. However, I must appreciate you for creating this channel that is so nurturing to Legal students on the essence of the Law and its procedure. Realistically, I do believe your structured teaching brings glaring understanding to everyone who has come across this channel "Your Channel". I've lived in Phoenix the vast majority of my life, but I've also lived in Chicago and Montreal. I know every city develops differently and that Phoenix is "relatively new," but Phoenix did once have a much more walkable, shoppable, pedestrian-friendly downtown with some great old buildings. It had charm once. Chicago and Montreal managed to keep and protect many of their fine old buildings, and both cities paid great attention to the architectural value of any new buildings going up. Sadly, Phoenix skyscrapers are only descript in their non-descriptness, having at best all of the charm of the front of a Walmart and, at worst, all of the charm of the back of a Walmart. "Build 'em fast and build 'em cheap" seems to have been the city's motto. It is so sad. They seem to think expensive concerts and sporting events make a downtown, but if beauty is only skin deep, ugly goes clear to the bone. For many decades, politicians have ignored the fact that the city's downtown is virtually without beauty but abundant in ugly.
