    I may not be 6' 1" but I get into my C8 with GT1seats the same way as the big guy here. The real problem is where you can't open the driver side door all the way. So you have to sit as far back in the seat the seat and then swing your legs in. Love my C8 best sports car on the road.

    Thanks for watching the video. I’m hoping you saw enough to consider subscribing. I am trying to find someone with the Lambo doors on their C8 to see if that is easier to get in and out of. It seems like it will be easier to get in and out of, but I’m not sure how easy it will be to reach the door to close it.

    Unless your mission is to park at car shows with the cover raised, I don’t see the point in a clear cover. Makes more sense if you also install the glass window in the tonneau but that adds another $1k or so. Frankly. I don’t get the fascination with seeing the engine…unless as stated previously, you frequent car shows.

    The installation is actually like a regular toilet seat. It is just two pieces. You put a bracket onto the toilet and the seat to slides onto the bracket piece of cake.

  • @williewilliams9871
    @williewilliams98713 ай бұрын

    The car was towed 3 times within the first few months I had it. The car has been trouble free ever since with the exception of a couple of minor things that cost less than $200. So yes, I stand by what I said and I assure you I did not get a free car. On average since I have the free supercharging that car cost me about $30 a month to operate, I’d say that’s a win.

    @@williewilliams9871 I was just pulling your leg, I concur with you that it is a good deal, and now the prices of the 2014-2015 model S being under $15k, these cars sound so much more appealing, I am contemplating getting one myself, and your vlog was very informative.

    Not to be rude or disrespectful because you did take the time to make this video, but geesh! First, you never actually showed how the nuts and bolts went onto this and in the video you do not show how you determined how far back to put the seat holder bracket either. Then, you talk about connecting the toilet seat lid and you do it off camera! How is that helpful at all? So this is basically just a review of the toilet seat and its remote features. And you don’t even really do that part either. So what the heck? You can’t possibly do your automotive related videos this way do you?

    Thank you. I thought this video would at least show aspects of the installation and some kind of display of the features/functions that others on KZread show when reviewing a bidet. Considering what is included, this video should be three minutes max. It's just a lot of long-winded talking without getting to the point. It makes you appreciate the people who do this well on KZread that much more

    Picking one up this Saturday 2015 model s just the regular 85 wonder how the power on that compares to yours. It has 48,000 miles on it. Fingers crossed but I’ve seen a lot of good reviews on used teslas. I’m buying prepared to invest money in it if need be.

    What is the estimated range displayed on the dash ? And what is your real world range in long distance driving ? Just trying to see what range I should expect in the 2015 85 I'm seeing the local sales.

  • @williewilliams9871
    @williewilliams98714 ай бұрын

    Well……….. a lot of it is determined by where you live. I live in Ohio and in the winter it really sucks up the power. With a full charge of 245 in the winter I’ll maybe get half of that when it is around freezing. When it is warmer out of the 245 I will probably get between 200 and 215 miles. Not bad for a 10-year-old car. I have also heard that when it’s really hot around 100° mileage is affected. I have taken a few long trips and never ran out of juice. The car does a good job of monitoring your power and sending you to the right charger.

    Cars go all over the world. In many places, daytime temps reach 125f/52c. Imagine hot hot the top of a black car gets in the direct sun, parked all day. Interiors reach 250f near the dash. Pretty sure the roof was designed to easily handle temps shown here

    I’m 6’4” 275lb, and I fit fine. I have the GT2 seats in my HTC, and I will say that I am at the limit for the bolsters. It’s my motivation to not gain weight, and preferably lose some more (I used to be 300lb). Since it’s much easier to get in and out with the top down I got the mods4cars module that allows both open, and close from the remote. The problem with the factory is that they don’t allow closing remotely. Now I can get out of the car easier with top down, then close the top as I walk away. Also. another tip is to have the windows rolled down when you’re in a tight parking situation. The window curve, and height makes it hard for a tall guy (or anybody) to stand with the door partially open, and boy is that door thick! This is also made possible through the mods4cars module because you can open and close the windows remotely. Again, get out with window down, close remotely while walking away. I guess Chevy was so concerned about liability for closing on fingers, etc that they decided to protect us from ourselves. Trust me, there’s a lot more dangerous activities that can occur whilst driving this wonderful machine!
