The Great Repertoire

The Great Repertoire

The Great Repertoire is an educational channel for piano and composition students who are learning reading music, sight-reading, music theory and harmony. With the help of the videos published on this channel, you can improve your playing and sight-reading skills, and learn about music theory, harmony and musical analysis.

You will find musical analysis of the pieces in the description of most videos. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the pieces or their analysis. I do my best to read all questions in the comment section and respond to them.

Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions. I read all feedback and try to improve the contents of this channel so it can be more helpful to music students and musicians.

Q: Are you the copyright owner of your videos?
A: Yes. All pieces are from public domain composers, and I create the music and the video myself. So I am the copyright owner of all my videos (music and video).

Very similar to minuet in g by Bach/Petzold. Also change key in the second half don’t stay in the same key the whole piece. Watch my minuet in c and see what I did with the key change. I used a technique called fonte, u can search it up and add it to ur composition. Catchy melody tho nice work 👍

5/5- Bach is “orderly” despite any unpredictability- things are brought to quick conclusions.

3/5 based only upon the fact I just heard my first Salieri piece on Spotify about 2 minutes ago. He was clearly very good but it feels like his music lacks a bit of a “sparkle” compared to WAM. He was a phenomenal teacher though and clearly a decent human despite fictional portrayals.

Such an easy song and the only reason i struggle with it is cuz i cant read super high notes. Takes me so long to realize which note that is. Its even worse for those with no memorization abilities.

5/5 He escuchado casi toda la obra de J.S.Bach así que no lo tenía tan difícil; por cierto, ambos compositores son extraordinarios.
