This works really well for solo salvage. Tried to fit the vulture the other way first, but it does not fit that way.

The rear part of the Vulture is too tall to fit under the roof in that part of the hangar. And the front "forks" are too wide to fit in the narrow part, because the "columns" on the sides of the hangar bar clip it. Putting it in backwards like that is the only way to get it to work. It's how I use it.

tried today in 3.18 live. this is the only safe way. the cargo grid works in both the forward and vehicle hangars. it is possible to go through doors with containers. logging out and logging in from the 890 works without spawning issues for the Vulture.

to be fair a BMM will fit one cos it will be designed for the Defender and the defender is around the same footprint when extended.

hey mate cheers for posting. Does the gravity pad still work on top of the hanger in 3.18PTU? if so will the Vulture sit on top of that? Pretty appealing idea parking the mothership and filling its cargo with RMC. I read in Spectrum the 890 in PTU has finally had most of its cargo space added (currently 388scu according to an 890 owner post), not sure if its setup for this snap grid cargo though.

Well I knew/heard it would fit this way, but not sure if it would fit the other way around, for one the "hands" are too wide for the opening (you can see it on my other video on the subject in which I didn't open the hangar doors first), but not sure if you could enter the rear end in first in similiar way that the hands were entered here.. I'll try some day.

I was able to fit it in and close the hanger doors. You face it the other way and dip the arms at an angle towards the basketball goal and slide them forward as you lower the vulture. It barely fits but it will. o7

At least I know now it's not just me. The last time I tried to solo her she turned into an aeroplane with stiff wings that taxied around on the ground and her health regenerated twice so it timed out.

Yeah, I knew if I die she'll regenerate, but that she took off for a little flight around and came back full health I didn't expect, never seen such thing happen on public server. I guess it's related to the stealth, but still, that health regeneration that quickly is a bit unfair

Yeah, I heard it was reported the very first day of shelter PTS. I reported it when release was nearing. They do fix some weird things though that never really needed fixing...

Did not dare to test this in the released game, but I placed the floors on top of the existing floor (without snapping to the underlying floor) and it ended up quite ok

Well the game has worked in a certain way for last two years. It would be quite atrocious to nerf it like this all of a sudden. It would pretty much make it a whole different game, one I wouldn't want to play anymore. And that was a FULL clip, but I didn't have Tank Killer equipped for some reason, with that it saves few bullets, but it doesn't help much. As we know in live version you don't need perks at all with a bloodied weapon. Well I guess this change would make specific build more important, but as I said, the game has worked in the way it has for the past two years. Were it an offline game I would just refuse to download any further updates if it were to change all of a sudden like this.

But shooting 1 clip to kill a Super Mutant is still way too fast. But the Game needs to change, especially in the balacnhe part. Because again, it hurts other aspects of the Game. Item Value, PvP, Open World PvE etc. Because at the current state of the Game you cant really chance some builds, because it can never be a good balance at the moment. You need to put Bloodied in the place where it belongs. Doing more damage to compensate your low health. But not completle ridiculous damage Numbers. At the same time you need to fix other Builds and give them strengths and weaknesses.

yes, you're right, this game is so easy, this at least gives it a bit of a challenge, the only ones who feel bad about this change are the duppers who can no longer be so op and still kill the enemies of a few blows without problems, I do not understand what the complaint is
