this is the most comprehensive video i have found on this so far though. done a lot of searching to find this so i can check out the tcm unit seems to be a fault that mazda placed this above the transmission as seems to fry the module with the heat. so looking at cable tying it to brake lines to keep it cooler i have the nissan lafesta 2011 which is almost the same vehicle but slightly different with the wiring etc but this has been great help thank you from new zealand. is a pretty hard fix for a complete novice and would of been very expensive at the mechanics here so big thumbs up from me

The no talk videos don't give you the same confidence in DYI repairs than having someone talk you through the job.

These guys that don't talk thru the process are just a waste of time.

would have to disagree with you there a common problem here being some who talk you through it also miss out massive chunks of the process. leaving much confusion for the novice who cant afford to pay a mechanic to fix. this is by far the most complete video i have found on the whole of the internet after searching for a while and also to be fair on the man his first language may not be english. but i have to send respect to him for putting it out there anyway
