Late post but if one is planning on towing so “don’t” do the bypass? And if not, then do you recommend replacing the radiator then instead? And still tow? Your video was the easiest I’ve found Thank you so much!

Hey ! Yes if you planning to do towing you really should do the radiator replacement instead ! to help and keep trans fluid cool as possible or if you live in some hot zones . Nice, like you I've had to install and take the tie rod off three times already. I'm going to do a 4th one on Saturday. I actually shortened the cross bolt on the inside to prevent it from rubbing/pulling on the boot so much. One of the guys with Z1 OffRoad was selling his CJD tie rods and one of his major complaints was he went through three boots and he was getting tired of keeping the tie rods clean and boots replaced. Now I just need to go back and loctite the bolt I shortened and the piece that you screwed into the rack. I'll probably loctite the nut on the knuckle as well due to the same concern you had. Nice video!

hey congrats on the body lift ! as for the extender no not really needed for 2 inch body lift its only needed if you do higher body lift . and yes he told me that it felt funny.. so what he did.. he loosen that bolt up again and then one more under the dash.. and moved steering wheel few times full turn right to left and then tighten everything up and it fixed it. Let me know if that helps you

  • @derekhorvath874

Yes. After doing research, I did this same thing and it worked. I'm a little concerned though because there is now not much connection where it connected under the dash.
