That's a good buy. The Snap On sockets are oil drain plug sockets. The taper shank is made to fit tight in the female drain plug and the square sockets are for male drain plugs. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🪛🔧

Made by Williams I believe in their Georgia plant I was dead certain they were made by snap on and I was wrong I have only 1 Williams USA wrench and it is 6 point the 12 point one sold on ebay if I remember correctly sold for 30 dollars they are rare for sure I keep trying to find a 6 point example like mine and haven't found one yet any where so 6 point might be extremely rare hell of a nice find and a steal of a deal thanks for sharing my friend

The kobalt first Gen wrenches were actually made by Williams which is a subsidiary of snap on so in a way they are made by snap on. Highly sought after!!

A couple of those Snap On adaptors,drag link sockets and ratcheting adaptor are military issued with no warranty on them.The letter V in the part number is the giveaway

@@Barry_D well my Pittsburgh pro 1/2 inch drive extendable ratchet is what I'm told is the old style of that design I can't say model for there is no # and the handle the name is painted on to the soft grip handle and it's now barley visible after a little use it's a decent ratchet I'm thinking this could be the case of your ratchet at least a possibility either way decent ratchet thanks for sharing brother
