    That 5/4 with a bass note on the second time makes no sense to me. He's counting 123-123-123. There must be another way to write it but I don't know which one.

    Me neither. To me it sounds like the song gets more agitated as it goes on (mostly because of John's lyrics and vocal) and maybe the subtle increasing tempo subconsciously supports that

    Thanks you so much for sharing this with us Lefty. My first reaction is "oh fuck, I`ve reached my limit with Bassing" Paul came up with this stunning bass line for johns song. He is a modern Mozart and a genius. It`s one thing to perfect copying a bass line but imagine creating this out of thin air

    Wow. That's great. McCartney had a way of making the bass a lead guitar part. This is a great recreation of that.
