I've been making my own newtmas edit to this song, & was curious if anyone else had a similar idea I'm nearly 8 years late, but this is beautiful 🥺💔 having read the books & watched the movies, I fully believe that newt was thomas' flare - even when things seemed at their worst & the others were starting to have doubts, newt's faith in thomas never once wavered. even after he'd died, it was still ultimately newt (through his letter) who gave thomas the strength to move on
