    Bed bug removal by professional pest services is extremely expensive. You can purchase high wall bed bug traps to put under your bed frame legs to trap bed bugs. If you lightly sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the legs of your bed it’s highly unlikely you risk inhaling it. You can also put some in the traps so the bed bugs will die faster. This is optional because they will die from starvation in a couple of days. The bed bugs can’t fly so they get to you by climbing your bed frame. If you’re mattress is touching the wall scoot it away from the wall so the only way bed bugs can reach you is by climbing the bed frame legs. That way they will get stuck in the traps. This is way cheaper and more environmentally friendly than pesticides or whole home super heating.

    Pest company quoted 1400 for bed bug treatment. No guarantee they won't come back. I paid a regular 90 baseboard spray and then used the diatomaceous earthunder beds and along wall. 8$ and it worked. Covered my face with my shirt. Total cost is 98$

    I wouldn't call that a misconception so much as miscommunication on the part of the manufacturer. I tend to just assume every claim printed on a product is either optimistic, or an outright lie.

  • @MrDerekRobinson
    @MrDerekRobinson8 күн бұрын

    @jojobrooklyn5285 I would say yes but it'll only kill the ones that come into contact, however if they're coming through the sink or tub drains, the problem needs to be resolved that's allowing them to get into the drain in the 1st place, which might be beyond what you're able to resolve on your own.

  • @GMOBtv
    @GMOBtv8 күн бұрын

    @@jojobrooklyn5285 it's a good product. I don't know about contact kills but this stuff is strong and does its job for quite some time. I heard that the active ingredient slowly paralyzes the bug. I usually spray all corners and edges and around doors and windows and then another barrier to kind of deter them away from the house. I've waken up to dozens of dead water bugs/beetles/roaches. It also keeps them away as I heard they signal the whole clan to stay away. Good product!!
