@@DigitalHealthInformatics I am so sorry for the delayed reply. Thank you so much! The area I wish to work in is as a Health Informatics Consultant.
@@Kj-oy5og I guess the next step would be to see you can apply for entry-level positions with relevant organisations or companies? Perhaps you could talk with local hospitals or perhaps healthcare IT companies such as Cerner or Epic? It might be worth joining a professional organisations such as HIMSS and attending their conference to network and talk with potential employers: www.himss.org/
@@DigitalHealthInformatics Thank you for providing me with this information. I will do some research on the two recommended Healthcare IT companies. While in school, we were required to join HIMMS. A lot of the conferences I haven’t been able to attend with my son. But I will look into them as well. Thank you again for your help 🙂
Hi folks, if you have any questions for me about getting into a career in digital health, please feel free to comment here and I will do my best to answer them. Best wishes, Chris

Would be very helpful if the video titles were about what the video is instead of ‘comp 11 lect 3…’ Makes it easier to find the videos we’re looking for 👍
Thanks Whitt - we're in the process of adding the correct titles to the videos.

Hi sir do you allow me to use your resources for a MPH lecture?
Yes, of course
I enjoyed it indeed.
Is an information systems degree more useful than a healthcare informatics degree then if you don’t like medical jargon and dealing with doctors?
more "useful" because you'll be happy? Yes.
You will have more flexibility in career options (and avoid the doctors!)
great lecture
Thank you. We appreciate your great effort
Please send contact info computer problems now Wait an extra long time

Hi. I'm Pharm D Graduate from India. I'm willing to do Masters in health informatics in USA. I would like to know the universities providing this course and also the job oppurtunities in health informatics field.
Hi Navya, There are a large number of US universities now offering masters courses in health informatics. We used to maintain a list at www.healthinformaticsforum.com but it became outdated too quickly so probably best to use Google. We also have a discussion forum on LinkedIn so that may be a good place to ask about experience of different university courses: www.linkedin.com/groups/3733812/
So Nice 💘💘💘💘💘💘
Thanks. But I want to know how a medical student can enter or take this specialist? Thanks
Hi Ammar, you might be able to do an elective module on informatics during your degree or intercalate with an informatics course. There are also post-graduate degrees and in some countries their are specialist societies and colleges such as facultyofclinicalinformatics.org.uk in the UK or AMIA in the US: www.amia.org.
Do a degree in Health Informatics.
thanks a lot
Welcome!
Thank you so much
No problem
THanks.
No worries!
Good start specially for developing country like Ethiopia
My country has high mobile telephone coverage, this can e very useful as mainstream care is often far or in-accessible in terms of cost. would be interested to give it a try here in Kenya. Thanks for sharing this.
Great work, did you ever charge the patients for use of service ? could that aid in sustainability ?
No it was free for all users. Its important that the programme remains accessible to everyone and that means we would not charge a person to recieve it.
Great Work.. Team.. Like the innovation
Thank you for this effort ..
