another great video. also answers my question about the impact of seasonality in tea. sounds like for your everyday sencha, seasonality doesn't matter so much, but if you want to get into seasonality and variance in flavor, go for shincha. cool!

This person do not know the history of tea In the old day leave we’re tske straight from the tree to the kettle and boil for 20 min to made tea ( any leaf can be use as tea ) In modern days the leaves are dry then grind or chop In this way the tea can be place in hot or cold water to infuse and drink but it’s still a tea

Since upping my intake of gyokuro, sencha and matcha for the nutritional benefits, I’ve noticed less tartar buildup-so oral health benefits do appear to be a thing (in my case at least).

I have three questions about matcha. 1. Is it alkaline? 2. Will it settle and clarify given enough time? 3. Is there anything it reacts with chemically? Such as acids, alcohol, sugars and stuff. Im doing an experiment making a wine. And i need something alkaline, green and that wont react over time to change colour or taste.

Gaba tea is so good!! I have gaba oolong from Taiwan and gaba sencha from Japan! I am surprised gaba tea isn't more common! Both teas have creamy, fruity, pastry flavours like the tea in the video, but beyond that they are very different! No spice, nor sourness and they are not incredibly subtle.

Hmm, I want to encourage you on your video making journey friend but the click image i clicked to get here said don't use this tea pot. and it was a japanese tea pot or kettle. I was looking for whether it was a tea pot or a kettle but clicked your video first wondering why I should use one. I didn't really get the information I thought I would get(why you shouldn't use this tea pot) instead you talk about all other types of tea pots, mostly clay and blah blah blah, 8 mins of blah. I don't want to diss you ma dude, just trying to help you focus your thoughts on the subject and mostly the subject. Then make another video about the clay pots which I would gladly watch to know why clay tea pots are better. Just not when I was clicked baited into why not this one.... Best of luck to you on your journey. Cheers. Now I'm gonna go find out if that pot is really a kettle or a tea pot. I'm betting its a kettle.

Yes it can! Some pots work better for certain types of teas but to start out you should just get one glazed teapot that can prepare a lot of different teas.
