Folks should note that they’re paying not only for hardware, but for support and service. I bought a Polar watch last year. Worked great; I liked it. But I lost it, so I ordered another one, same model. The new watch did not work, right out of the box. It would not charge or sync. Polar told me to ship it back, and they would replace it. I shipped it back. They did not replace it. Instead, they shipped back the exact same defective watch. I have since contacted them a dozen times without resolution. On their site “chat” a rep has told me repeatedly that “a specialist” will contact me to resolve this. But nobody from Polar has ever contacted me. I just get automated emails that say “We are currently experiencing a high amount of contacts, so unfortunately our response time is longer than usually.” Maybe they are swamped with product returns, I don’t know. But it’s been over a month since I first asked for a replacement, and there’s no indication that anyone at Polar is doing anything to address this. Very disappointing. Caveat emptor: It seems Polar has some significant problems with quality control and customer service.

if you are not testing the phono stage then your video is meaningless.
In the 70s the business of an amplifier was basically to amplify the "phono stage" 50 years later it's purpose is to amplify a digital stream via its DAC. If you're serious about vinyl, the built in phono stage of these amps are simply to get you started. Last one I heard was on my arcam a39 supposedly their £400 rphono stripped down and inserted. It was meh. Having decided to go down the vinyl route again I bought a stand alone one. It was blissful
