Fuji autofocus is the worst in the world now. Even Lumix fixed their shit. I'm one bad video shoot away from putting this whole system in the woodchipper. Before all of you fanboys come out of your sewers to tell me I don't know how to use it, I've been on this system for 6 years. Be honest, IT SUCKS!

With the latest firmware update for the X-h2s (ver.7.00), the autofocus has deteriorated to such an extent that subject detection is now almost unusable. The original firmware (version 1.01) was more reliable. Fujifilm should release a downgrade back to ver.1.01 and stop messing about with so-called ‘improvements’.

Personally I don't like the look of Fuji images after the Xtrans II sensor, circa 2013. The whole look and feel reason to go Fuji is further reduced with every sensor there after. Same with their lenses, they loose their pop rendering after their first series of lenses trying to appease the benchmarks of reviewers instead of the artistry desires of photographers.

Sony make model look less great than Fuji, Sony color science and skin tone is still not on par with Fuji Canon

Amazing videos ! i just subscribed to your channel ! Question for ya-- I have the fujifilm 18mm 1.4 mm and want to get 1 or two mist filters, any recommendations which ones specifically. I was trying to decipher which strength NISI filters you were using on the lens your video but couldn't. Thanks from Cairo

Good talk about wide angle lenses. 50mm and above are not like toys whereas wide to ultrawide lenses are play toys in the photo/video world to exaggerate to make a point. And they are fun, as you said. I have always loved wide angle lenses. It's as if more of the world is in my viewfinder.

why I see in The Neterlands that the A7 is more cheaper. like 2500 euro for the body from a A7 and 4700 euro for the FX3 body.

Moving from APS-C to FF I am on the fence between building A7IV or A7C II, I love compact size but bigger size is good for grip and stabilising. Would my best option to get A7C II and buy a battery grip so it gets bulkier similar to A7IV and I can remove it anytime for travel ? Btw I will use prime lenses with it mostly

I love my Xt3 but using it on the beach completely killed it. A week after my beach visit the on/off switch became hard to turn, i had to pour some WD40 into it and use a pair of pliers to get it to turn, soon after the top right side housing stopped working. i can no longer change the shutter speed using the dedicated top dial. i had to program a scroll wheel to use it. =( I highly wouldnt recommend using this style camera around sand.

Great insights. Having a lightweight setup is so helpful, especially when traveling where you potentially carry the camera all day long. In my opinion my full frame Nikon Zf has better IQ than my Fujifilm X100VI but the weight is nearly double even with a lightweight lens (40mm), and would hurt my shoulder after being out all day with it in a sling- to your point slings probably aren’t the most ergonomic, but they are so fast to get the camera out to shoot. We’re traveling to Korea in the fall and I’m considering getting the XT5 or the A7cii for interchangeable lenses

Why don’t you just pack a little point and shoot disposable film camera, say Kodak comes packed with 800 film. Thank me later young grasshopper. Less is more.😇

It's videos like this that we all learn how many people rely heavily on auto focus. And no, I'm NOT saying that's bad or criticising anyone! Anyway, I shoot Fuji, and yes for paid work, because it's fun. And for the insane amount of creativity I have with the film sims and the RAW converter, etc. Anyway, not knocking other brands, Fuji is just more interesting to me. X-T5, X-H2s, X-H1.

I used to shoot with the Sony A7IV for ages and when I used Fuji for the first time it did not work. But now as I know how to work with it and what I have to dial I find it actually better than the Sony one. Besides I shoot in JPEG only now and with the filmsimulations and options to create own recipes it just reminds me to my beginning of the photo journey using a Canon AE1 in the 90s. I have sold the Sony camera and use Fuji only. X-T5 is a beast!

I love my A6700 but I do wish I had that 1/8000 shutter on the A7C II, but the grip on the A6700 is better.
