E60 INTENSIFIES
My brass bell is just a bit smaller, and it appears to have come off an old steam locomotive. It appears to be modified to have fit on the first generation of diesel engines. It has a air inlet at the top with a very unusual clank assembly in side the bell. I will be adding air to it soon but it appears someone has poured lead in to this inlet. So, I will turn it upside down and apply some heat to it in hopes to drain out the lead. It has a beautiful ring to it if I just shake it with my arms.
My flashbacks
I remember watching this when I was a kid.
That came from a dash 8 for sure!

Thank you for this. I just bought a bell with a 506 clapper and it keeps jamming with the piston coming out on air but the bleed off part not occuring. I figured the weep hole in the plunger must be gummed up with something but for the life of me could figure out how to take the thing apart till now.
I just got my hands on a brass bell with the 506 Ringer. Did the tear down and very easy to take apart and the Ringer parts are in what appears super state. Am going to replace the O rings just because they are a wearing part. Have one question. On the base of the Ringer is the small screw in bolt with a lock nut. The tip of this bold is milled like its a air adjustment. The video just says "take it out" then later "put it in" Nothing about adjusting it or really the purpose of it. Can anyone explain this.
THAT is a Loram grinder video! Others I warched a few minutes ago about the Loram train, are just grunpsdts. In order to see the grinder doing its work, it's useful to watch it in the dark, or somewhere thereabout The newer model grinders don't throw as much dust during operation, as the old ones.
Within this year I have seen this lead unit in Bakersfield California 😊
Amazing trains video

normally ns trains are rare in central nc..
Where did you get a replacement speaker?
How do I fix a dead one of these?
This rail grinder can grind the tracks and put out fires!?! Incredible!

Thanks for the video! Very helpful. Do you know what it means if it says “Double-Acting” on the clapper? And is yours a double acting one?
Pray for Kevin 🛐🙏🏾🕊✝️❤️😭

Augusta is where trains captured me. It started with a Tyco Chessie System trainset. Next came the GP35 or GP38 that was parked on base at Ft. Gordon while we shopped at the P.X.. Then after art class when my cousin picked me up, a Chicago and Northwestern F7 makes a reverse move over Bridge A at now Ogilve Center to one of the service tracks. Later, cross the Chicago & Northwestern tracks to get to my high school. To occasionally get blocked by an eye full of Milwaukee Road SD40-2's, SOO Line GP30's, Chicago & Northwestern GP9's , GP15's, SD60's and C44-9's. Finally, join the ranks of railroaders with the Chicago & Northwestern. And still occasionally get blocked by a train at work, sometimes by the very train I'm going to work on.
A rare Conrail!
i need parts for a TRANSPIN DEVICES CORP B-163 bell motor
I need me one of those.
I like it buddy!

Haha, that's MY old machine!
Wow! Never seen this before! No idea they do this!
Loved the intro reminded me of the I love toy trains series
Anyone with a big brain willing to explain what’s going on here? I get it’s grinding the rail, but why? Was it possibly an old rail that was rusted?
I would love to work for those guys......
I remember being a kid and this happened a few miles away but i didnt realize it was from a grinder
Coolest train Ive ever seen I think. Itd be neat to hear an explanation of how it works
