How common are aws fail to cancel and overspeeds and what are the consequences (obviously depends on toc) but genrally? I'm not even going to ask about spad 🤣 I'm asking because I'm starting training soon and I'm just curious. Thanks.

From what i know, the overspeed part of TPWS is for if the train is approaching a danger signal too quickly (from my understanding an overspeed trip usually means you’re about to have a SPAD)

Then nothing would happen. You would do that if you have permission to pass a signal at danger. If you SPAD accidentally, the brakes can be released after 60 seconds.

Literally gave me a headache watching this, not for the reasons you might assume. I've been singing this song in a band for nearly 2 years now and still can't play the guitar riffs and sing at the same time. Don't have this problem with any other song, no matter how weird the time signature is. Watching you sing and play off beat bass riffs gave me a headache working out how you did it. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo. Your drummer shreds by the way.

An AWS fail to cancel, please could someone help explain… Does this mean the driver has failed to cancel the aws or that the aws button fails to work?

It means both of them, but it's unlikely the AWS button will fail unless maintenance do a shocking job on the train.

Just remembered a question now! Towards the end there’s the demonstration of “increasing severity” (e.g. failing to cancel an AWS warning then overspeeding/SPADding), what happens in the other direction (e.g. a SPAD then an uncancelled AWS or overspeed)? Now I’m curious 🤓
