    Thanks for all video and tips! My Olivia is 5 years old and we discovered in February that she has syringomielia, thanks to your help i took the cold laser, i make her do shiatsu and the exercises at home with the pillows that i saw in your videos. I wanted to ask you if the symptoms get worse with the heat because i set that sometimes we spend the night without sleeping with her painting a lot, unable to sleep, scratching (she suffers from phantom scratching). Here in Italy they don't know about Syringomielia. In these case what can do? She doesn't take pain medication, the neuroligist prescrbed her only Pea supplement

    When I walk my small dog on a front clip harness the leash will get under her front leg. What am I doing wrong?

  • @raisingyourpetsnaturally
    @raisingyourpetsnaturally21 күн бұрын

    Funny you ask, as next week I have a new video with 5 harnesses reviewed. I actually no longer use front clips, I tend to buckle in the back. That said, you would need to hold the leash up above the foot. If your dog is at your side, it's much easier.

    @@lisaferrari1018 If she is really having issues, it might be a time to talk about medications, even if it's an as needed situation. As natural as I want to be, I don't want Dexter to suffer. He personally has been on the recommended medications for CM/SM since diagnosis in 2012. He's now almost 15. Dex loves cooling mats, and I also set an ice pack on the ground, and he will usually lay on it. This helps him settle.

    Why does anyone let their cavaliers hair get this long? Mine is only six months but we cut his hair every few weeks to avoid this mess. No knots. Less time. No snags. Just start them off with slim hair and never let it get like this. Works great for us.

    I would keep the ratio of the recipe the same. I'd start off small, say about the size of the example in the video. Then, gradually build to 3-4 a day. But, I do also rotate and I don't give anything all the time. So, a few days on, then off. Or week on, week off. Best bet is always to talk to your dog's vet.

    It’s hard to relate our situation to the video because your spaniel seems to have no issues whatsoever with the leash and harness. Our rescued toy Aussie doodle is extremely fearful of the leash and loses all appetite for treats when we touch the leash. It’s often left out in the vicinity of the dog and us so he ignores it except when we touch it. He freaks out when we finally get it on him, jumping and biting at it.

  • @raisingyourpetsnaturally
    @raisingyourpetsnaturallyАй бұрын

    Dexter has 0 issues with his leash and harness. However, as a dog trainer who works with a lot of rescued dogs, my video should be helpful to you. I hope you watched it to the end on how to slowly desensitize and counter condition your dog. Remember, the key is to start at the point where your dog is comfortable. That might be reaching towards the leash, then tossing the meat treat. Good luck.

    I would go through the trouble shooting I went over in the video. Honestly, I would also suggest a new food if you are able (Ingredients Chicken, Rice Flour, Chicken By-product Meal, Whole Grain Wheat, Soybean Meal, Whole Grain Corn, Corn Gluten Meal, Beef Fat Preserved With Mixed-tocopherols, Oat Meal, Natural Flavor, Fish Oil, Glycerin, Salt,) Not ingredients I'd suggest. Here are some alternatives. When shopping, pay attention to the ingredient panels, that will help in deciding the quality of a food. www.amazon.com/shop/raisingyourpetsnaturally/list/2WXX1ZAEUY53K?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_aipsfraisingyourpetsnaturally_V3YF4B6KD83RVAE9T1NA
