I got the new rock tank boots and the sole came off on my 2nd wear and mind you I take good care of my boots and I’m not harsh when walking on it and it somehow still broke after my 2nd use…these boots are not worth it.

Why were rivets used, instead of screws? As it'll a right pain in the ass, for the customer, to remove those rivets, if needed! And it looks like no one is getting a reply?

Why not put 'plugs' in side, which you screw the hooks into? They couldn't unscrew, as the laces would keep them from moving. And when a hook needed to be replaced, you'd simply unscrew it, and screw in a new one! Yeah?

Hello. I've just bought a vintage/older pair of 'Reactors'. I would like to know how old they are, if possible. They have no side zips, and have a Hologram of the Earth, with the words 'New Rock Planet' going around it. Thank you, in advance. :o)

@0:08 I am struggling for tens of minutes and I can't but that damn side thing in, I removed it in order to clean my boots fully, but now I can't get that thing back on, those two rubber things are damn hard to push through, my hands are already turned into jelly.

El cuero que usan es calidad standard, igual a cualquier zapato netamente comercial de gama media a baja, y sus suelas van vulcanizadas (pegadas) no cosidas, lo que traduce en una confiabilidad deplorable y cero resistencia para el tipo de calzado (combat) que pretende por apariencia dar a entender… No tiene nada que amerite ni de lejos el usurero precio del calzado, además de ser muy pesadas y mas delicadas incluso que las botas más baratas de los tianguis, en fin todo un fraude y una mina de oro a costa de los tontos que se dejan deslumbrar por lo brilloso y las apariencias, cero calidad; una basura de marca. I need to replace the heal plate on my reactors, I’ve ordered the spare part but does anyone know what size rivets you need? I’m considering buying my own rivet gun but need to make sure it can cope with the river size.

Wow that's just pop rivet then. I've always wondered how to change and the metal parts from the sole when mine broke, a long time ago. let's do some restoration

cheers, im on that same journey now lol i bought mine back in 05, broke one of the metal parts on one of them back in like 2012, and just now found out that they sell replacement parts on their site. Im getting ready to restore these guys after wearing them this past weekend to see VNV. I hope yours turned out great :)
