Pretty much all modern music in the western world started as black music. Jazz, rap, rock, R&B, blues. All of it came from poor, black communities. Then white people got ahold of it and some were all right, but most were garbage. I’m just a dumb white guy, but I don’t think it’s offensive that white people rap or do rock music, but what’s offensive is that it always takes a pretty white boy to sing a song written and performed originally by a black person for it to be commercially successful. I don’t blame Elvis for “stealing” black music. I blame the racists who didn’t see the talent in Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard and others, calling it the devil’s music, and while Elvis took a lot of garbage for singing that music, he was the one who ultimately broke through. What does that say about us? Good for Elvis for opening doors that made it possible for other guys, originals, to make a living, but really, 🤬.

I don’t know how to explain it but Phil’s moves very fast yet smooth and with flow. His patterns and rhythm makes sense so it’s satisfying to watch.

Check the description of the video. This clip was getting too long already as well. Attention spans are less these days. Theres many known vets and young gen in canada that weren't in this but I focused on wanting to give other younger gens shine while having some familiar faces.
