  Hi Ma'am, First of all a big thank you for giving all of us in one lecture really appreciate your efforts. Secondly I have one question about proper noun. Proper noun ending with s are singular (6:00) So which one of the following is correct? 1. The Smiths present their research 2. The Smiths presents their research. In my opinion the Smiths are the proper noun here ending with s so should be option 2, but as per the example #2 (2:31) option 1 is correct. Any comments please

  Absolutely no. Language is a means to an end and including these redundancies makes it less ambiguous. For eg if someone asks me what format i want my file, im not gonna tell them "PD" just cos the "F" is redundant.

  You'd have to expose yourself more to the language. Watch/listen to more materials in English like films, podcasts, and the like. Have someone to practice with. Baby steps will do. What matters is consistency. :)

Ma'am ask ko lang, regarding po dun sa "i started a youtube channel in 2019" since may time indicator siya, pwede rin po bang sabihin na "i had started a youtube channel in 2019"? gusto ko lang po kasi Ma'am iclarify kung pwede bang may had sa unahan kahit di siya 2 past actions.   In that case, hindi sya pwede. Kung hindi before a past action, pwedeng before a past time or event. Basta dapat before something past kasi 'past perfect' ay 'prior to past.'
