    If your on about the western digital self contained Nas drives that run my cloud or whatever it’s called these days I don’t think you will find a way to run this. You can run it on something else and then just point to the Nas share though

    That little eye icon in the top right will blur your figures in case you need to screen record or take a snapshot :). Im trying to find something to replace Microsoft Money 2004. Actual budget is the closest i have found so far but i don't do budgeting as such. Ive been sticking a whole (future) months transactions in so it shows me whats left. I've got a bit of learning to do with AA to see if I can get it to fit my needs.

    @@ExpressITTechTips Yup. The issue is that I still havent found anything thats like it. Actual Budget wont let me enter future transactions into the register if they are part of a recurring bill, for instance I do a weekly shop so I set a schedule up for 'every week on the next monday' but it only lets me put the very next transaction in then I have to wait until the dates past before I can enter the next one :(

    Great video! I just subscribed to your channel. Question: I've got a lot of old hdds with data on them. Some have backed up volumes from my spare laptop as well. What's the best way to move the data from all these smaller drives over to the new 20TB drive I've just bought? I can do a direct drop and drag of a lot of the files but the ones that have backed up OS's on them I can't do that without losing information. Cheers

  • @ExpressITTechTips

    Probably something like clonezilla and backup to an image file. You could use mini tool here to segregate some partitions then clonezilla to back up each os disk to your 20tb

    Really helpful video, thanks. I'm torn between one of these and the USB powered One Touch to use as a USB backup drive for my Synology NAS. I was considering the non-HUB as there is a 5TB version (my NAS is 3TB (RAID 2x3TB drives), but I'm now wondering if the 8TB version of this would be better as I can also keep a local backup of my Google Drive on it. Bit of budget creep though as I'm now looking at spending £150... Which would you say is better suited given a weekly backup schedule? Does the Hub version consume much power when idle?

  • @ExpressITTechTips
    @ExpressITTechTipsАй бұрын

    Hub version doesn’t appear to consume much power to be honest. I used mine for exactly that use case obviously more space means it’s easier to backup more. It really depends on what works for you if you have power near by it’s better to have a powered one than a port powered device for sure

    4 notes: 1 your voice vs the song made it harder to hear what you were saying in the beginning. 2: Increase the size of what you are recording, it was very difficult to read(both the site and the code, and even after you scaled it up). If I was watching on my phone, the text would be impossible to see. 3: Just going through the intro page felt unnecessary/at minimum took too long. If you want to cover all of the topics on the website, it may be better just to use it as a checklist of what to show off during the demo portion. 4: The sound effects at the beginning were a bit loud, which made them even more obnoxious than they already were..

    Thank you very much for the video. I am from Valencia (Spain) and it is the 2nd 7950X3D that I have just bought (about to return it for another), and I have to say after more than 25 years assembling my computers, with different platforms and sockets, that when you buy something high range and/or quality, you can't go wrong, let me explain, and this goes for the folks at AMD. If you manufacture the processors on wafers, which are like giant 1.5 meter (59") cookies, you can search for it on Google, and it is assumed that the ones in the center have good Silicon and that they are known as Pata Negra, and according to They go to the outside of the wafer, the Silicon is getting worse, not to mention that the ones in the corners of the wafers are totally unstable, yes, they work but with Expo1 or 2 and that's it, don't try to touch anything in the Bios, with temperatures very high and unstable, as soon as you put the Curve Optimizer in All Cores -5mV for example and try to run it through Cinebench, it is sure to give you a blue screen (that is, if it starts). Negative from -25 to -30, and you get the Cinebench without any blue screen, with a very high score, and on top of that good temperatures... And I think there is NO right to that of the Silicon Lottery, since they are worth exactly the same I am not an AMD SRS player, I pay for something expensive and good, not expensive and....luck with the Silicon. What the AMD srs should do is to discard the ones on the corners of the wafer, but since it wastes a lot of money, I'm going to give you another advice,...put them on sale but with the name 7950X3DBD, the nomenclature "BD" comes from Bios Defaul, and of course sell them cheaper. No matter how much you spend more than $1000 on components such as Motherboard, GPU, and other lots of money on PSU, Ram, etc. If you then put on a microphone that turned out bad, what's the point of putting on all the best? Example: Here in Spain we have and sell something very delicious to eat called Jamó Serrano, which specifically comes from the cured hind leg of the pig. Well, you have the normal Serrano Ham, and it is the cheapest and it is possible that out of every 100, 5 of them will be sold, that is why they have that price. Then you have other ones raised with acorns that are more expensive and harder to find a salty one. But then you have one called Jamón de Jabugo which is without a doubt the best and most expensive, and I assure you that NONE of it comes out salty. Well, that's what I mean, sers. from AMD, you are selling Jamón Serrano as if it were from Jabugo.
