I haven't been to Israel since I was 14, and I am considering making aliyah (immigrating to Israel). At the moment I'm living in the Pacific Northwest. Having been to Israel before I can tell you that saying the people are aggressive is probably a very susinct way to put it. In the open markets and bazaars they will essentially mob you trying to sell you stuff. You need to keep a CLOSE eye, and preferably a hand as well on your stuff. Most of the cab drivers are armed because of some of the violence that goes on, so there is some truth to Jerusalem being a violent city. With the society in Seattle you get the "Seattle freeze," basically people will actively ignore you and try to avoid conversion. In Israel... it's more like people will quietly stare at you. If they have something to say, they will say it to you. If you're easily offended or don't handle criticism well, then Israel us nit the place fir you. If you're an American from basically anywhere in the central US, true your money will not go as far. If you're from the American East Coast, then you'll notice your money seems to go about as far as it does in the US. If you're from the American West Coast, you will notice your money does go further. My background is security/law enforcement and education. From my own research, teachers in Israel make a bit more than teachers in Washington state do. I haven't looked into security ir kaw enforcement jobs yet. However, those higher taxes do afford you better health benefits in Israel than you get in the US.

I’ve been in Jerusalem for 2 years now. I know hundreds of Friends and family who have made the move. And have never looked back! America isn’t what it used to be. Unless you’re ok with kids learning about sex confusion and 9 years old. To say that Israel has no spiritually. Sounds like you still might be in your LA mindset… Yes. The economy is more rough than what America has to offer. Although the trade off has been worth it for millions of people. And people aren’t stopping to flock to Israel. Give it 10 more years you will see Isrsel thriving on a new level!

Why don't you make videos about the aspects of life as compared to North America . Instead of being negative try showing facts comparisons to base your reasoning on.IF you say taxes show the differences and explain what they get for it compared to the usa that taxes and provides zero helps but Israel it taxes it gives healthcare etc yes? SO why would that not be worth it?

I feel my question may be a bit odd, but I would like to live in Israel due to the access to the Mediterranean and my love for Israel and its history. I am a skilled natural stone fabricator and know I’d make decent money if I were able to start up a business out there, but have no idea if I would even able to get the visa to get out there. I also would like to meet a girl out there in time. I already anticipate to hit a brick wall with this dream, but I figured I’d ask anyways. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I’m moving to Israel for culture, and yes I do have an Israeli girlfriend, but that’s not why, I’m moving for culture, traditions, different aspects of the entire country, and of course I can’t speak for your experience, but as someone who’s been there a million times I’ve never experienced racism, discrimination, division etc in fact there’s more racism in the United States than in Israel, and the struggle part I disagree, and no one is running, I’m moving for so many different reasons as an American, and no I’m not taking a step backwards, I’ll be doing IT and learning the Hebrew language for 44 weeks with 1100 hours of training, and “the best place to live” is a subjective term good video btw

Moving to Israel from anywhere isn't going to be easy, and frankly moving from anywhere to anywhere else isn't easy either. It requires planning, lots of it. US Jews have for years been making Aliyah. I find interesting that you never mention the word Aliyah and instead call it "moving". As for escaping something, yes Jews now escape persecution, random attacks, verbal/mental abuse, discrimination, etc. And it is no longer American Jews, it's Jews from all over the world. Not all Jews that "move" to Israel stay there, which is called 'yeridá' in transliteration. The accent on the 'a' is for pronounciation purposes. Israelis are aggressive?, not all. Israeli culture takes time to get used to. Israelis are assertive, some are aggressive but ultimately they don't hold out, they tell it to you like it is. On the other hand, other Israelis are real nice, warm and welcoming. Ultimately, life has a lot of very meaning there in many ways and many forms. Aliyah is doable and rewarding. By the way, love is also a reason to "move"to Israel as a great many diaspora Jews find it in Israel.

Life is harder. You have to work. Us made it easier for one to live. That changes when you move to a place like Israel
